There are plenty of new features and mechanics in Mortal Kombat 1, but the most notable is definitely the inclusion of Kameo fighters. They're mainly used to string together or break up combos, but can also be called upon to add a little extra pizzazz to throws and Fatal Blows. It's even possible for players to take a step back and let their chosen Kameo fighter land the final blow, with every MK1 Kameo fighter having their own unique Kameo Fatalities.
Mortal Kombat 1: How to Perform Every Fatality (& What They Look Like)
A guide explaining how to perform every Fatality in Mortal Kombat 1 with videos showing what they look like in action and where players need to stand.
Those looking to learn how to perform every Kameo Fatality in Mortal Kombat 1 have come to the right place, as this guide not only contains a video showing what each of the finishers is supposed to look like and where players should be standing to trigger them, but also the associated button prompts needed for Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation controllers. The video should also come in handy for anyone who just wants to see what all of the MK1 Kameo Fatalities look like without having to perform them for themselves.
Updated March 18, 2025, by Tom Bowen: In addition to the 15 Kameo fighters found in the base version of the game, Mortal Kombat 1 players gained access to five additional options through the game's first Kombat Pack. No new Kameos were unveiled when Kombat Pack 2 was first announced, although players were eventually treated to Madam Bo, who released alongside the game's final DLC kombatant. This guide has been updated to include Madam Bo's Kameo Fatality, with video and button inputs available here.
The videos featured in this guide contain graphic scenes that have been rated 'Mature' by the ESRB. Viewer discretion is advised.

All of the Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo Fatalities can be performed from medium range, though players may need to stand a little further back to trigger Jax's. Those having trouble finding the exact spot needed can reference the video above for more guidance. In all likelihood though, players shouldn't have too much trouble pulling any of the Fatalities off.
