Although many are looking forward to sinking their teeth into the new story expansion, the Mortal Kombat 1 player base is seemingly a lot more excited about the return of Animalities. These fan-favorite finishers have become a staple of the series over the years and are now available to all MK1 players regardless of whether or not they purchase the Khaos Reigns DLC.

Mortal Kombat 1: How to Perform Every Fatality (& What They Look Like)

A guide explaining how to perform every Fatality in Mortal Kombat 1 with videos showing what they look like in action and where players need to stand.

By

As the name might suggest, Animalities see Mortal Kombat 1 kombatants transform into an animal or insect to finish off their foe. Every playable character has their own Animality, meaning that as of the time of writing, there are 32 MK1 Animalities for players to learn. The following guide has button inputs for every single one of them as well as a video showing what they all look like.

Updated March 18, 2025, by Tom Bowen: The final Kombat Pack 2 Kombatant is now upon us, and with him comes one last animal-themed finisher. To celebrate the occasion, this guide has been updated to include the T-1000's Animality, which sees the iconic Terminator 2 villain transform into a wolf and tear off his oponent's arms and head using his razor sharp teeth. In addition to the button inputs needed to perform the T-1000's Wolfies Just Fine Animality, players can also find a link to a video showcasing what it looks like in action.

The videos featured in this guide contain graphic scenes that have been rated 'Mature' by the ESRB. Viewer discretion is advised.
