Since making his debut way back in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Ermac has gone on to become one of the franchise's most popular kombatants. With this in mind, his appearance in Mortal Kombat 1 is far from surprising, though some may well be questioning why they had to wait more than six months to finally get their hands on him when he appeared in the game's main story.

Despite his delayed arrival though, most will likely chalk this up to a case of better late than never. After all, Ermac is now available for Kombat Pack owners, many of whom will be keen to learn how to perform his Mortal Kombat 1 Fatalities. Both of them are pretty brutal, but Ermac's second Fatality is particularly impressive, so squeamish players may want to think twice before they proceed to our Ermac Fatality guide.

To perform Ermac's Vitruvian Maim Fatality, players will need to press down, forward, down, back kick while standing at medium range. If done correctly, Ermac will use his magic to lift his opponent into the air and then tear off their arms and legs. After that, he spins them around while attaching their feet to their forearms and their hands to their ankles before squeezing their body back together into an unrecognizable ball of limbs. It's one of the most brutal MK1 Fatalities, just as one might expect from this fan-favorite kombatant.

Players can perform Ermac's Second Fatality by pressing forward, back, forward, back, back punch while standing at medium range. Doing so will see Ermac push the other Kombatant's soul right out of their body and then tear them apart with his bare hands. With his mask now down, he sucks up his opponent's soul as they try frantically to crawl away until eventually they simply cease to exist. Interestingly, although the fatalities themselves are very different, the button inputs for Ermac's second Fatality are identical to the ones for Peacemaker's second Fatality. In fact, so too are the inputs for the first.
