Since making his debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Mavado has gone on to appear in six Mortal Kombat games. With most of those appearances being little more than cameos though, it seems somewhat fitting that Mavado was chosen to be the fourth DLC Kameo fighter in Mortal Kombat 1.

Mortal Kombat 1: How to Perform Every Kameo Fatality (& What They Look Like)

Every Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo Fatality is a little different, as evidenced by the accompanying video which shows each of the finishers in action.

Armed with his trusty grappling hooks, the Red Dragon member is one of the most interesting Kameo fighters to date, both when it comes to his move set and his design. This is particularly true of Mavado's Fatality, which ranks among the most well-fleshed-out Mortal Kombat 1 Kameo finishers to date.

The video featured in this guide contains graphic scenes that have been rated 'Mature' by the ESRB. Viewer discretion is advised.

To perform Mavado's Katapult Fatality, players will need to press Back, Down, Down, Kameo (R1 on PlayStation, RB on Xbox, or R on Switch) while standing at medium range. If done correctly, Mavado will launch his grappling hooks into the ground by the opposing Kombatant's feet and then begin to walk backward. Like some giant human slingshot, he proceeds to launch himself feet-first into the other fighter's torso, resulting in a huge explosion of blood. With their corpse now in two separate pieces, he flicks some of the blood off of his clothes and strikes a well-earned victory pose.

Before players can use Mavado as a Kameo fighter in Mortal Kombat 1, they'll first need to purchase him. If they already own Kombat Pack 1, they'll be able to get him free of charge from their digital storefront of choice. If not, they'll be able to snap him up for the fairly reasonable sum of $4.99, which is the same price as all of the other DLC Kameo fighters at launch.
