The base Mortal Kombat 11 roster is quite extensive, featuring 25 new and returning characters. As players progress through the game's story mode, and start honing in on their favorite Mortal Kombat 11 characters, they are certain to become intimately familiar with the voice work behind these fighters. Indeed, there is a talented cast of veteran and novice actors lending their voices to NetherRealm Studios' newest fighting game.

The extent of these actors are outlined below, with brief details on their past experience included. To note, only voice actors that star as playable characters in Mortal Kombat 11 have been included in this list.

Ike Amadi (Shao Kahn)

Ike Amadi is no stranger to video game voice acting, and some of his most notable credits include entries in the Call of Duty, Fallout, and Mass Effect series. Mortal Kombat 11's Shao Kahn, a bonus given to those that pre-ordered the game, is Amadi's first time working within this classic fighting game franchise.

Troy Baker (Erron Black)

Troy Baker has been making headlines recently, due to an apparent misunderstanding about his reprisal of the role of Rhys for Borderlands 3. Beyond his presence in the Borderlands franchise, he is highly experienced with giving voices to video game characters, including Joel from The Last of Us. He previously voiced Erron Black in Mortal Kombat X.

JB Blanc (Kano)

JB Blanc has been lending his voice to video games consistently since 2003's Star Wars: The Knights of the Old Republic. He has hundreds of credits, including Apex Legends and Metro Exodus from this year, and this is his first time working on a Mortal Kombat game.

Steve Blum (Baraka & Sub-Zero)

Steve Blum is an extremely prolific voice actor with hundreds of credits to his name. In 2019 alone, Blum's voice can be heard in games such as Metro Exodus, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, and he will be playing the role of Wolverine in the upcoming Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. He previously voiced Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat X and Baraka in MK Mobile.

Andrew Bowen (Johnny Cage)

Andrew Bowen is no stranger to the Mortal Kombat series, having voiced Johnny Cage, Rain, and Smoke in Mortal Kombat X. While, to the certain dismay of some fans, Rain and Smoke have not returned for Mortal Kombat 11, Bowen is back to reprise his role as Cage. Some fans may also remember him for his run on the fourth season of MADtv.

Jonathan Cahill (Kabal)

Jonathan Cahill is something of a newcomer, and his role as Kabal in Mortal Kombat 11 marks his first time being featured in a video game. Prior to that, Cahill acted in a number of shorts as well as several TV shows, including Canvassing! And Fiendish Things.

Sean Chiplock (Noob Saibot)

Sean Chiplock is solidly establishing himself in the world of video game voice acting, and he is featured in both Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and Wargroove from this year. The highlight of Chiplock's video game work is likely to be the various characters he voiced in the exceptional The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, including the Great Deku Tree. This is his first time appearing in a Mortal Kombat game.

Sara Cravens (Frost)

Compared to some of the other members of Mortal Kombat 11's cast, Sara Cravens is relatively new to video game voice work, with her first credit coming in 2014. However, since then, she has already been featured in several notable titles, including Injustice 2 and God of War, while also lending her voice to the subbed version of the popular anime series One Punch Man.

Megalyn Echikunwoke (Jacqui Briggs)

Megalyn Echikunwoke is another relative newcomer to the realm of voice acting for games — her two preceding credits are for Lego DC Super-Villains and Injustice 2. That said, Echikunwoke has had recurring roles on a handful of TV shows, such as 24, That '70s Show, and the 2011 reboot of 90210.

Richard Epcar (Raiden)

mortal kombat 11 voice actors

Richard Epcar has been the voice of Raiden since 2008's Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, with Mortal Kombat 11 marking his fifth time in the role. This is certainly not the extent of his voice work, though, as Epcar has over 400 credits to his name. Among these credits are his voice acting as the Joker in Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2, which may mean that Epcar's voice will be featured yet again in this new fighter, assuming the recent Mortal Kombat 11 DLC leak is accurate.
