A tactical nuke is a Killstreak that any player can get in COD Modern Warfare. When players trigger the nuke, the lobby gets only a few seconds of gameplay before the nuke detonates, and the game ends immediately. Players usually have a limited time to brace for impact after the nuke is activated. Obtaining the nuke is an excellent way to end matches and defeat enemies, especially if players are overpowered on the battlefield.

To obtain a nuke in Modern Warfare 3, players must achieve 30 kills in a row. If players get kills from Scorestreaks or Killstreaks, they don’t count towards the 30 kills. The only kills that count are individual kills from defeating fellow Operators, enemies, and bosses. While killing an opponent is pretty straightforward, landing 30 kills in a single match is difficult.

Players must play aggressively and engage in long, mid, and close-quarters combat on COD maps. Unfortunately, there’s a chance an opponent might take the player down before achieving the 30 kills, so it’s vital to move swiftly through maps undetected, take cover, and land as many shots as possible.
