Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's The Indigo Disk DLC handles Legendary Pokemon encounters a little bit differently than past games in the series. There are almost 30 of them to catch, but players will not be able to access them until they complete the main storyline of the expansion and roll credits. After doing so, you can meet a man in a black suit named Snacksworth, who hangs out near the front entrance of Blueberry Academy.
By completing BBQs (Blueberry Quests), the man will give you a treat for a specific Legendary Pokemon. The treats are given to players randomly, but once you get one, you can encounter one of the Legendaries. This guide will show you where to find Moltres in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for those with a Moltres Treat from Snacksworth.

Moltres Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Snacksworth will give you a hint as to Moltres' whereabouts in the Paldea region, but we can show you exactly where it's located. Here's the hint, though:
I was off doing a spot of rock climbing over in western Paldea at the time. The weather was sure something else that day! Sandstorms were kicking up the whole desert- my mouth was as sandy as the ground! I was about ready to call it quits when... Moltres appeared in a blaze of glory, so bright you could see it through the blowing sands! I don't know if it meant to cheer me on, but it certainly did, and I completed my climb that day.
If you don't feel like searching for Moltres, just go ahead and fast travel to the Asado Desert in the Paldea region, specifically the Asado Desert Watchtower fast travel point. Once there, look directly north to find a mountain. Climb to the tippy top of it, and the Legendary Fire/Flying-type Pokemon, Moltres, will be there waiting for a battle.
Moltres' Moves
Moltres will be at level 70 and know the following moves:
