Monopoly GO players are currently able to claim a Princess Leia Token free of charge as part of the game's Star Wars Day 2025 celebrations. However, the newly launched Monopoly GO offer is extremely short-lived in nature.

Scopely's massively popular mobile game has launched plenty of crossover events since first releasing for Android and iOS devices in April 2023. Most recently, Monopoly GO announced an ambitious Star Wars collaboration, which officially kicked off on May 1 and is planned to run for over a month.

The latest Star Wars freebie resulting from the ongoing event is an exclusive Princess Leia Token, which became available on May 4. Claiming it is as simple as logging into Monopoly GO, which will prompt the game to automatically add the token to one's account. Since it's officially characterized as a Star Wars Day bonus, this freebie will only be available for 24 hours, ending on May 5, circa 9am PT / 12pm ET / 6pm CET.

Monopoly GO Currently Offering Even More Star Wars Content

While the window of opportunity to claim the Princess Leia Token is fairly tight, there's plenty more Star Wars content currently on offer in Monopoly GO. For instance, a new Star Wars GO Album has been available since May 1, featuring over 20 nine-sticker sets based on some of the most memorable moments from the iconic franchise. While the crossover promotion is ongoing, players can also expect more Golden Blitz events, as well as an increased encounter rate for Wild Stickers in mini-games. Completing the entire Star Wars-themed GO Album unlocks 15,000 dice rolls, as well as a unique Darth Vader Token.

The Star Wars GO Album introduced some structural changes to the way the game handles collectibles, as it concentrated most of its 4-star Gold Stickers into its final set, called Galactic Heroes. In doing so, the collection aims to offer speedier early-set progress compared to Monopoly GO's typical albums.

Players can presently also jump into the May The Fourth tournament, which kicked off in the usual 1pm ET time slot on Star Wars Day. According to Scopely's recent patch notes, the tournament will be available until May 5, ending around 4pm ET. The ongoing Star Wars event offers valuable Monopoly GO rewards, including over 2,100 Flags and more than 6,800 free dice rolls. As per usual, players can accelerate their progress by taking advantage of special event bonuses. The ongoing Star Wars crossover is planned to run until June 2. The collaboration is expected to yield many more themed Monopoly GO events in the coming weeks.
