The game's narrative reveals that a portal was unintentionally opened to the Marvel-verse, allowing for cameos from iconic characters like Wolverine and Deadpool, Black Panther, Rocket, Spider-Man, and The Avengers. Players will be able to collect 20 sticker sets based on Marvel characters and series, with albums to complete that give players unique rewards.
Monopoly GO Reveals Marvel Events
Monopoly GO will introduce several events based on Marvel, including:
- Avengers Racers: An Avengers-themed variant of Monopoly GO's Tycoon Racers event where users can play in bumper cars based off of Marvel heroes, including Captain Marvel, Thor, Black Panther, and Iron Man.
- Amazing Partners: Two players work together to build a Marvel statue in the center of the game board.
- Guardians of the Galaxy Treasures: Players can partake in a dig-themed event with the potential to find relics, items, and treasures based upon the Guardians of the Galaxy.
