Monopoly GO retains the essence of the original board game but takes the fun up a notch by introducing Sticker Albums. These fun collectibles add another layer of thrill and break up the traditional gameplay loop. Players can earn stickers in a number of ways and will accumulate many duplicate Stickers over time.

In Monopoly GO, you can reuse these extra Stickers by converting them into Stars. These Stars can then be redeemed in the Sticker for Rewards menu for some much-needed goodies. With the Star Wars GO album drawing to a close, many players are wondering what happens to their Stars once the season ends.

Updated June 26, 2025, by Usama Ali: As the Star Wars GO album season draws to a close, one big question is on every Monopoly GO player’s mind: what happens to all of their Stars once the season ends? One thing is for certain: your Stars won't carry over to the upcoming new album called Summer Escape. To help you make the most of them before time runs out, we’ve updated this guide with everything you need to know about how your Stars are used at the end of the season, including whether it’s better to open vaults in the Stickers for Rewards section or hold off.

What Happens to Stars After the Star Wars GO Album Ends?

A new Sticker season in Monopoly GO brings a clean slate for all players. When a new season begins, all current sticker sets and any unused Stars in the "Stickers for Rewards" section are reset. That means unused Stars won’t carry over to the next Monopoly GO album. As such, it's important to use them wisely before the current Star Wars GO season ends.

On the flip side, any remaining Stars that haven’t been spent on vaults will automatically be converted into dice rolls once the new season begins. This way, your hard-earned Stars and sticker-collecting efforts don’t go to waste, even if you don’t unlock every vault. The conversion rate is quite generous: up to 750 dice rolls for 700 Stars. However, if you have more than 700 Stars, any extras beyond that cap will be lost.

While opening vaults remains the best way to get value from your Stars in Monopoly GO, this auto-conversion offers a nice backup reward to help you kick off the next season strong.

To get the most out of this feature, try to save at least 700 Stars before the season wraps up. You’ll secure the full dice roll bonus. If you have more than 700, consider spending the extras on lower-cost vaults to collect extra rewards before the reset hits.

Of course, while the conversion is a nice perk, the best value for your Stars still comes from opening vaults, which reward players with a bunch of goodies like dice rolls, cash, and even stickers that can help you complete sets before the season ends. If you’re down to a couple of stickers, it’s a good idea to save up your Stars and open the highest-tier Vault.
