Monopoly GO: Wizard's Chess Rewards and Milestones

Monopoly GO has been pretty busy ever since the Harry Potter GO sticker album arrived. A few days back, the game released the Cash Treasures minigame, but honestly, the rewards didn’t feel that exciting. To make up for that, Monopoly GO has now rolled out a new digging minigame called Hogwarts Treasures, and this one actually brings some fun Harry Potter–themed rewards with it.

To take part in Hogwarts Treasures, players will need its tokens, and that’s where the Wizard’s Chess Monopoly GO solo event comes in. It started on December 17, at the same time as the minigame, and it will stay live for two days, ending on December 19. During these two days, you can earn a mix of useful rewards, including dice rolls, sticker packs, and plenty of tokens for Hogwarts Treasures. The Wizard’s Chess event comes with 62 milestones, so finishing the whole thing won’t be easy. That said, the rewards make it worth pushing through, especially if you’re playing the Hogwarts Treasures minigame. Here are the best rewards this event offers:

The biggest reason most players will jump into Wizard’s Chess Monopoly GO is for the tokens. By playing the event, you can earn 199 tokens in total, which is more than enough to keep you digging in the Hogwarts Treasures minigame for a good while. Having this many tokens really improves your chances of unlocking all the better rewards in the minigame.

The good thing is that you don’t need to finish all 62 milestones to get them. All 199 tokens are spread across the first 53 milestones, so if tokens are your main goal, you can stop there and still get everything you need.

Once you’ve collected the tokens, you can use them in the Hogwarts Treasures minigame to start breaking tiles on the grid. When you hit the right tile, it reveals a hidden piece of treasure underneath. Your goal is to find every piece to clear the level and move on. The grand prize includes 2,000 dice, a five-star sticker pack, and some cash. You also unlock an exclusive shield by clearing level 22.

Apart from the tokens, Wizard’s Chess Monopoly GO also gives players a ton of dice rolls. If you manage to finish the event, you will walk away with 18,205 dice, which should keep you rolling for a while.

Players will also get a few sticker packs along the way. There are only three available here, with the best being a three-star pack at milestone 26. On the bright side, Hogwarts Treasures offers better sticker rewards, including a four-star and a five-star pack.

Wizard’s Chess Monopoly GO will only last two days, so be sure to act fast if you want to grab everything.

How to Get Points in Wizard’s Chess Monopoly GO

To earn points in the Wizard’s Chess Monopoly GO event, players need to land on Chance, Tax, and Utility tiles on their board. Out of the three, Tax tiles give the most points, so landing on them helps you move faster through the milestones.

Chance: Two Points
Tax: Three Points
Utility: Two Points

If you want to progress faster, using a higher multiplier helps a lot. I usually go with 20x, but if you’ve got plenty of dice, you can push it even higher. If you are running low on dice, it’s smarter to increase your multiplier only when you are about seven tiles away from one of these target tiles.
