The Blossomdance event in Monster Hunter Wilds has a few neat pieces of armor for players to collect, and that includes entire armor sets and some nifty eyewear for all your fashion needs. The Sakuratide set is one of this event's featured sets, and it's perfect for players who are looking for a more casual style.
The Sakuratide armor is a Tier 5 set, and not only is it stylish, but it's also surprisingly decent for its rarity. It won't hold a candle against the absolute best armor sets in the game, but for those who are still trying to rise up the ranks, then this armor set is a solid option. Here's how to get it.
Best Hunting Horn Weapons In Monster Hunter Wilds, Ranked
Here are the strongest Hunting Horns in Monster Hunter Wilds, ranked from worst to best.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Sakuratide Blossomdance Armor
The Sakuratide set requires only two types of materials: Carbalite Ore and Blossomdance Tickets (not to be confused with Blossomdance Vouchers). You can get the former by mining High Rank mineral outcrops. As for the latter, you have two options:
- Claim Blossomdance Tickets from your Daily Login rewards
- Claim the tickets as rewards for completing Limited Bounties while the Blossomdance Festival is active
Yes, since one of the Sakuratide set's main components can only be obtained when the Blossomdance event is live, players will only be able to craft this armor set for a limited duration. Once the event ends, you'll have to wait next year for the next Blossom Dance event to begin.
Luckily, all you need are five Blossomdance Tickets to craft the entire set, and you can get all five of them in a single session. The Limited Bounties may or may not be the same for each player, but in our case, we had to complete the following:
- Hunt 4 High Rank Talioths
- Hunt 1 Tempered Monster ranked 5-stars or higher
- Complete 1 Event Quest
- Complete 3 missions in the Plains
- Complete all Bounties listed above
Bounties will reset according to the countdown timer in the View Limited Bounties menu.
Is the Sakuratide Set Any Good?
As mentioned, it can't really compete against the likes of the Zoh Shia or Gore Magala armor sets, but if you've just started High Rank and are lucky enough to reach that point while the Blossomdance is active, then yes, the Sakuratide armor is a good general-use set that's decent against all monsters, but it still pales in comparison to other options.
When wearing all pieces of this armor set, you will get the Foray 5 skill, which will increase your Attack power and Affinity against Poisoned or Paralyzed monsters by 20%. You can easily make a Lala Barina weapon and bring some Poison Smoke Bombs during your hunt to take advantage of this armor skill. Give your Palico either a Poison or Paralysis weapon too for maximum uptime.
Other Sakuratide armor skills include:
- Quick Sheath 3
- Item Prolonger 3
- Adaptability 2
Still, the Sakuratide set is easily outperformed by the Ebony Odogaron set, which comes with the Burst skill. The latter is much easier to activate, and its uptime is significantly higher since all it needs is for players to hit monsters repeatedly.
During Blossomdance, Sakuratide Armor adds special items to quest rewards, and it also gives bonus Attack and Affinity.
