Monster Hunter Stories is a spin-off of the Monster Hunter franchise. In this game, the player will take on the role of a Monster Rider, who is the opposite of Monster Hunters. Instead of hunting the monsters, they work alongside them, making friends with them.
While playing the game, players are able to obtain all kinds of monsters to utilize. There are various types of monsters that players can find, and one of the Flying Wyverns in the game is the Seregios. Here's how to find and catch one.
Lessons Pokemon Generation 9 can Take From Monster Hunter Stories 2
A new generation of Pokemon is undoubtedly coming in the future, but there are some things it should learn from Monster Hunter Stories 2.
What Is A Seregios?
The Seregios is a type of Flying Wyvern in the game that is relatively difficult to obtain. While it can be found in Pondry Hills (one of the first places players will visit), it is one that cannot be obtained until the player is at a much higher level. This Monstie has a regular growth pattern and has a Technical tendency. It has a good amount of health and speed, making it a pretty great Monstie to rely on in a variety of situations. Their in-game description reads, "Highly nimble and deadly monsters. They aim to lacerate their enemies using sharp scales and claws." They also have some useful skills, which include the following:
- Riding Action - Fly: "Flies high in the air, allowing you to travel freely without running into other monsters."
- Kinship Skill - Piercing Stars: "Launches a storm of scales, slicing the enemy."
Monster Hunter Stories Review
Capcom's spin-off of the Monster Hunter series makes for a surprisingly enjoyable turn-based RPG on Nintendo 3DS, merging addictive mechanics with cutesy graphics.
How To Find A Seregios In MHST
The Seregios is found in Pondry Hills, though it is one of the most difficult Monsties in the area. Players can find one and make it retreat so that they can follow it back to their nest. The best way to do this is to shoot it with a Paintball before defeating it, trapping the Monstie, or blinding it. This will allow the player to easily follow it back to its nest, and while it is sleeping, they can grab its eggs.
Additionally, if players have the Den Protector skill, they will increase their chance of having a Monstie retreat, which can encourage the Seregios to retreat. The four eggs shown in the picture above are the different egg patterns that the Seregios Egg will come in, allowing players to ensure that they have the right egg before leaving.
