Monster Hunter Stories is the first RPG in the Monster Hunter franchise, and it has finally seen a remake on more modern consoles. The game follows the player character as they explore the land with their Monstie, working as a Monster Rider.

While exploring the game's world, you will come across countless monsters that you can fight. The more of these fights that you participate in, the more experience that you and your Monsties will obtain. If you fight every monster that you find, you will slowly grind that experience. Additionally, understanding the Attack Patterns of monsters can help you tremendously as well.
Complete Side Quests
Depending on the side quest that you're doing, you will get a variety of experience and rewards. There are countless side quests and main quests that will give you experience, which will help you level up. Additionally, a large portion of these quests have you looking for specific monsters, which you can then obtain experience from.

Complete Floors In The Tower Of Illusion
The Tower of Illusion is probably the best way to level up, especially when you're closer to the endgame. This area is a dungeon-like area that will allow you to constantly take on enemies. There are 50 levels of this tower, and each level will allow you to fight enemies to gain experience. Plus, there are Barrel Felynes in the area, which are the enemies that will give you the most experience out of all the enemies that you can fight. (Several floors in this area will also give you Monster Eggs that cannot be found anywhere else in the game, making it worthwhile in more than one way.)
Get & Use EXP Charms
One thing that can help a lot is if you start to work on getting charms during the game. To do this, you will want to submit prayers to the Prayer Pot, and you may be given a charm that increases your experience for a certain amount of time. If you have this and go out to fight enemies, you will gain experience even faster, allowing you to reach the max level quickly.
