Doing so helps with its growth and extends its lifespan, as evidenced by the recent success it achieved with Street Fighter, where many people logged in to play and acquire the crossover's Akuma armor set and its added benefits. Monster Hunter Wilds will likely have more collaborations in the future, but what exactly those will be is something that fans can freely speculate on.

Working With Devil May Cry Would Make for a Stylish and Interesting Crossover

If there's one thing that Monster Hunter Wilds' collaboration with Street Fighter has made the case for, it's crossovers with other popular series from Capcom. With Devil May Cry being one of the most well-known Capcom properties of all, and riding off the successful-if-controversial Netflix series, it's an opportunity worth exploring. Potential features include:

Cosmetics for Alma, allowing her to don the appearance of Devil May Cry's popular female characters, such as Trish and Lady,
The chance to obtain armor that allows players to look like the series' stars Dante, Nero, and Vergil, potentially introducing mechanics that are exclusive to each.
The crossover would result in new weapons being added for Monster Hunter Wilds that people can instantly recognize and want to track down, such as Vergil's Yamato as a Long Sword or Lady's Kalina Ann as a Heavy Bowgun.

Collaborating With Dragon’s Dogma Would Make for a Perfect and Sensible Choice

With Monster Hunter Wilds being a game about tackling a variety of creatures, it would make sense for it to collaborate with a title whose gameplay loop revolves around the same thing. This is why Dragon's Dogma would make for a good choice, as not only do the games share similarities to Monster Hunter in terms of their combat premise, but it's also a series owned by Capcom. Another reason why it would be a perfect fit is that its weapons and armor would feel right at home in a world full of equipment meant for taking down dangerous beasts, making their inclusion easily acceptable to fans.

A Crossover With Hades Has a Lot of Potential to Provide Unique Content

With how far Hades 2 has come and how beloved its predecessor is, Monster Hunter would certainly stand to benefit from doing a crossover with this IP. The Supergiant Games series could bring its fun and exciting weapons, like the Stygian Blade, Adamant Rail, and Sister Blades, giving fans the opportunity to see how they function in a full 3D environment, which can also lead to new ways of tackling and enjoying hunts. Also, it has the potential to do what the Street Fighter crossover did in introducing a new mechanic, allowing weapons to use stamina instead of mana to unleash powerful new moves, making gameplay more engaging while potentially introducing fresh playstyles.

While these three properties have a lot of potential for a Monster Hunter Wilds collaboration, and are crossovers many would likely want to see, there's no guarantee that they're what will be chosen. Future crossovers could be with any of Capcom's best video game franchises or with amazing titles made by other developers, and regardless of what ends up happening, it'll surely be on somebody's wish list.
