With players able to roll credits in under 15 hours, it seems fair to say that Monster Hunter Wilds is a little on the short side when compared to some of its predecessors. Side quests, hunts, and endgame content can help to pad out the game's length quite a bit, but franchise fans will still be hoping that downloadable content can help in this regard.

It's been a while since we've seen a new core console entry in the Monster Hunter series, but Wilds is right around the corner.
Thankfully, a decent amount of Monster Hunter Wilds DLC has already been announced, with the developers promising to continue providing regular updates for the game long after its launch. This Monster Hunter Wilds post-release roadmap contains release dates and windows for all of the DLC announced so far and will be updated whenever new content is unveiled.

This Monster Hunter Wilds DLC release schedule has been updated to include some of this new information and the fan-favorite monsters that players can expect to see returning to the game over the coming months.

All Confirmed DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds (Post-Release Roadmap)
Three paid DLC packs were announced alongside the deluxe and premium deluxe editions of Monster Hunter Wilds back in October of 2024. The two cosmetic DLC packs are included with the premium deluxe edition, but can also be purchased separately. As the name suggests, they consist mainly of cosmetic items, although there are a few music tracks thrown in there as well.
When it comes to free DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds, Title Update 1 will be released on April 4, 2025, and will reintroduce a fan-favorite monster. Mizutsune will be available for all players with a Hunter Rank of 21 or higher as part of a new mission in the Scarlet Forest. There'll also be a special event featuring an Arch-tempered Rey Dau, and repeatable Zoh Shia hunts, though the latter won't be unlocked until players reach HR 50. The last big addition is the Grand Hub: a new area in which players can socialize and manage their squads.
Further down the road, Title Update 2 will be arriving in the summer of 2025 and seems destined to bring back Lagiacrus: a monster that hasn't been seen since Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on the 3DS. Little else is known about TU2 at this time, but if it's anywhere near as action-packed as the first title update, hunters have plenty to look forward to over the coming months.
