Monster Hunter Wilds launches Festival of Accord: Dreamspell, adding a spooky seasonal event just in time for Halloween. While not a true live-service title, Capcom has made sure to keep Monster Hunter Wilds updated and feeling fresh through new updates and special limited-time events.

Since it launched earlier this year, Monster Hunter Wilds has seen plenty of limited-time events, some bigger than others. While Capcom rotates special limited-time quests for players to tackle, the Grand Hub social area has also seen seasonal changes, like Monster Hunter Wilds spring event called Blossomdance. The social space is given a unique look and offers plenty of rewards and other limited-time specials for players, and now with Halloween on the horizon, Capcom is kicking off the next brand-new event.

Monster Hunter Wilds Festival of Accord: Dreamspell Event Dates

  • October 21 – November 12

The spooky season has arrived in Monster Hunter Wilds through the Festival of Accord: Dreamspell event. The special limited-time event features the Monster Hunter Wilds Grand Hub social space fully furnished in Halloween-inspired decorations. New special equipment can also be crafted during the event, like a Palico puppet costume, as well as Hunter cosmetic outfits. Exclusive items can also be obtained from simply logging in, like a stuffed Seikret decoration, new gestures, pendants, background music, pop-up camp customizations, and Hunter profile options.

However, there's also new things to do in the game as well. The Grand Hub canteen will also have a new seasonal meal on offer for those who have special vouchers obtained from login bonuses, and there are limited-time event quests in Monster Hunter Wilds to tackle as well. Hirabami Harvest and That Won't Faze Me offer further cosmetic gear like a jack-o-lantern outfit and what appears to be a hat or hood that has players wearing a Gelidron-like creature on their head.

Alongside the new content, players can also purchase a bit more with the Dreamspell DLC pack, which becomes available on October 22 with new emotes, skins, and plenty more customization options.

The Festival of Accord: Dreamspell event comes on the heels of the recent big crossover between Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy 14. Both games received content for their own playerbases to enjoy, with Wilds adding a unique hunt against Omega Planetes, a notorious superboss from the Final Fantasy franchise. Players can also chase new gear, like the Shadowbringiner great sword, Soul of the Pictomancer item, Seikret and Palico gear, as well as the Bale Alpha armor set.
