Monster Hunter is known for having striking designs that can make your character look unique. Monster Hunter Wilds is no different, and features customization options that let you change your hunter's look in numerous ways.

Mixing armor designs using the layered armor feature is what notoriously lets you make your hunter look however you like while keeping an optimized build. In Monster Hunter Wilds, there is another feature that lets you add more decorative pieces to your hunter's look. These pieces are called pendants.

How to Get and Equip Pendants

Pendants are a decorative piece that you can add to your weapons and Seikret. Several versions of the Hope Pendant are available to all players once you start the game. More versions of this pendant will become available as you progress through the story, along with the Dragontorch Wings pendant and the Arkveld: Mark of Resolve pendant.

Numerous pendants can be obtained through paid DLC. The Avian Wind Chime can either be purchased individually or is available to those who purchased the deluxe edition of the game. The Fairy Light and Dancing Cat pendants are also available as paid DLC when either bought individually or through the Pendant Sets.

Other pendants can be earned through certain side quests and challenges. The Azuz: Mark of Gratitude pendant can be earned by completing the Succulent Scraps side mission, and the Kut-Ku Plushie pendant can be earned after competing the High Quality Materials side mission. The new Doshaguma of the Hollow challenge quest will grant you the Doshaguma: Mark of Contest pendant for participating and the Doshaguma: Mark of Mastery pendant for being in the top 10,000 players for this quest. More challenge quests will be available in the future that will reward new pendants to players.

Barrel Bowling, the newly added game mode found in the Grand Hub, has 2 pendants tied to it. The Barrel Bowling Strap pendant can be claimed at the Barrel Bowling counter after the first time you play the game mode, and the Barrel Bowling Trophy can be earned upon getting an A rank in the game mode. Finally, the Stuffed Feylene Teddy pendant is available to any players who participated in the open beta.

Once any of these pendants are earned, you can add them to your weapons in the Change Armor Appearance tab when in any camp tent, where there will be a setting for each of your equipped weapons at the bottom of your list of gear. To equip a pendant to your Seikret, in the same tab to change your armor appearance, select the Customize Seikret setting. This will let you use the same pendants as the ones available for your weapons and have them on your Seikret.
