Monster Hunter Wilds offers numerous different types of quests players can complete throughout their journey as a hunter. Some can be simple hunts, while others can have surprising elements to them that reward players with unique items.
These quests are referred to as Event Quests, where items can vary from materials that can be useful as you progress through Monster Hunter Wilds, or they can offer materials that can be turned into new pieces of gear. The specifics of each quest can also be unorthodox when compared to a regular hunt. One of the event quests that is available now is the King of a Faraway Sky quest.

King of a Faraway Sky Event Quest Details and Rewards
The King of a Faraway Sky quest is an event quest that is available to play until April 15, 7PM EST. It requires you to be HR 31 or higher in order to accept the quest and to hunt a tempered Guardian Rathalos in the Ruins of Wyveria. The Rathalos itself is what would typically be expected when hunting it normally. However, what makes this quest unique is that every other monster on the map during this quest is tempered. So be careful when traveling through the world, as these tempered monsters can do a surprising amount of damage if they catch you off guard. Upon completion, it will reward players with a plethora of Artian materials that you can use to forge Artian Weapons.
To accept this quest, Alma will have a specific tab called Event Quests. Select this page, and it will display all the information about the quest. You can run this quest as many times as you would like, as long as it is played within the timeframe that the quest is available. Once that timeframe ends, it can no longer be played and will be rotated out with a new quest.
