The world of Monster Hunter Wilds continues to grow with each update to the game, whether it's by adding new monsters, new quest content, or even new areas to explore. Sometimes it's all the above, and the Title Update 1 patch is a prime example of the bountiful updates that players new and familiar with the franchise desire.

One such addition that changes the dynamic of Monster Hunter Wilds in an incredibly positive way is the Grand Hub. If you want to know how to access it, then you'll need to know what requirements are involved to unlock it first.

Monster Hunter Wilds Hits Incredible New Milestone

Following Monster Hunter Wilds' incredible success, Capcom reveals a new milestone the game achieves in less than two months since its release.

How to Unlock the Grand Hub in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Grand Hub requires a certain degree of progress before Monster Hunter Wilds players can freely access it. To unlock the Grand Hub, you first need to reach Hunter Rank 16, which you can easily do by completing your story-related Assignments, Optional Quests, Investigations, etc.

As you progress through High Rank and build your Hunter Rank, you'll occasionally encounter soft rank caps that are unlocked by completing certain missions in the ongoing story. There's a soft cap at Hunter Rank 15, which you can get lifted by completing the missions of Chapter 4-2. Once done, your next soft cap will be Hunter Rank 20, and so forth until the story is concluded.

Once you reach HR 16, head to Suja - the Peaks of Accord and seek out Tetsuzan (you should have a notice on the region's menu that notes that Tetsuzan wants to talk to you). You can find him in the tent area at the top of the hill to your right, usually sleeping next to Poogie. Speak to him and, afterward, you'll receive a prompt that the Grand Hub is now open.

How to Travel to the Grand Hub in Monster Hunter Wilds

There are two methods to travel to the Grand Hub, though one will undoubtedly be the most convenient.

The first is to use the Peaks Back Gate in Suja, where Apar is usually posted. This can be a handy route if you're already in the region, and certainly the more immersive option. It's also in proximity to where you talk to Tetsuzan. Simply leave the tent and turn right to find Apar standing by the gate straight ahead.

The second method is via the ever-reliable World Map. The Grand Hub is now presented on your map in the top right corner (as seen above), ready for you to select. After you visit it for the first time, you can also fast-travel to any of the Grand Hub's four main areas, including the main entrance, your Monster Hunter Wilds tent, the Quest Counter, and the Barrel Bowling mini-game area.
