After the release of Title Update 2, Monster Hunter Wilds still has new things for hunters to chase after before another wave of content. Whether it's the waves Uth Duna promises to make or the flaming hot new cosmetics, the Flamefate summer event is loaded with new rewards.
Like the previous Blossom event in spring, Monster Hunter Wilds prepares for the heat of summer with the new Flamefate limited-time event. With this comes numerous fun activities to do within the Grand Hub and even some new DLC items for purchase. However, the main attraction is the numerous event quests and their respective rewards. Here is every obtainable piece of gear tied to this event and how to get it.
How to Beat Arch-Tempered Uth Duna in Monster Hunter Wilds
Uth Duna is back with a vengeance in Monster Hunter Wilds, and you can now hunt its Arch-tempered variant. Here's how to unlock it.
Flamefate Event Quests and Rewards
Whether in the freshly decorated Grand Hub or in any other base camp, Alma will have all previously released event quests ready for you to select along with the newly added ones. Each quest rewards a specific material needed to craft the specific gear pieces.
However, while this event is active, limited bounties reward Flamefate Tickets. These tickets are needed if you are looking to craft the Afi armor set and palico equipment. This armor features a striking design, with a flaming headpiece on the male set that can be customized with pigments to change the color of the flames. The same can be done for the palico equipment as well.
Arch Tempered Uth Duna
The standout quest added to this event is Arch Tempered Uth Duna, making this the second arch tempered quest to be added to the game after Rey Dau. Unlike the previous pattern with Arch Tempered Rey Dau, this quest will not be leaving once the event is over and is a permant quest available to all players. This means that you do not have to wait for another seasonal event to come around in order to get the Gamma Uth Duna armor set and palico equipment.
To craft these pieces of equipment, you will need Gamma Uth Duna Tickets, which will be rewarded upon quest completion. Each armor piece requires one ticket and several other monster parts that are reminiscent of the required materials to craft the regular Uth Duna armor. The same goes for palico equipment.
Pick Your Poison Event Quest
Moving to the limited-time event quests, Pick Your Poison features a hunt for regular Gypceros and Rompopolo in the Oilwell Basin. Upon completion, you will be rewarded with Diver Tickets that can be used to craft the Diver armor set and Aloha palico equipment. These are returning armor sets from previous Monster Hunter installments that are sure to be a welcome addition to veteran players.
Putting Up a Stink Event Quest
This quest requires the successful hunt of a tempered Congalala and Rathian in the Scarlet Forest. Interestingly, with this quest, the Congalala will be the smallest size it can possibly be and the Rathian the largest it can be. This can help with earning achievements tied to logging the largest or smallest monsters of a specific type. The rewards for this quest are the Flamefate Catalog, which can be used to craft the Cornpopper Gunlance, Half Rim Glasses, and Heartshaped Glasses armor pieces. Upon crafting the glasses, they can also be equipped to Alma via her customization tab.
