Mortal Kombat 11's Aftermath expansion will launch on May 26, bringing with it plenty of new content for fans of the fighting game to dig into. Arguably the highlight of the Aftermath expansion is the inclusion of three new DLC characters, Fujin, RoboCop, and Sheeva. RoboCop has been getting the most publicity when it comes to the new Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters, but NetherRealm has shown Fujin some love too, releasing one of his intro videos.

The new Fujin intro video shows the fan favorite character face off against Cetrion. In the clip, Fujin berates Cetrion for working with Kronika, stating, "There is no virtue in blind obedience." The intro also shows off some of Fujin's skills with his sword, though it stops short of actually showing a fight between the two characters.

Luckily, NetherRealm has released a new Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath gameplay trailer that shows all three of the DLC characters in action. This new Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath gameplay trailer gives fans their best look at Fujin's move-set to date, so anyone interested in the character should be sure to check it out.

Not only will Mortal Kombat 11 players be able to utilize Fujin in versus battles, but he will also be featured in the Aftermath story. For the uninitiated, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will also feature a story expansion that picks up right where the MK11 story left off. It starts with Shang Tsung, Fujin, and Night Wolf confronting Raiden and Liu Kang. This is a pretty surprising development for anyone that has been following the NetherRealm Mortal Kombat reboot story closely, and it will be interesting to see what happens next.

The release of the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion will likely mark the end of NetherRealm's major support for the game. However, it's possible that there could still be more DLC characters added in the future. Evil Dead's Ash Williams has been found in the game files, suggesting that he will be coming to Mortal Kombat 11 down the line, or there was at least plans to add him to the game at some point but have since fallen through.

Fans of NetherRealm's games will no doubt be excited to see what's next from the studio when it's done with Mortal Kombat 11 DLC. The running theory is that Injustice 3 is next up, but it's possible NetherRealm will also work to release Mortal Kombat 12 as its first next-generation game instead.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
