MultiVersus is a fun game from Player First Games where characters from Warner Bros. Movies, TV shows, and comics fight each other. You can play as Batman, Wonder Woman, Bugs Bunny, the Joker, and many others in cool arenas. Every character is balanced: some are strong but slow; while others are fast, but not as powerful.

There are some defensive moves that you can use when facing your enemies in this popular platform fighter. Among them is the parry. This incredible technique can not only protect you from your opponents’ attacks, but also give you a chance to strike back. If you do it right, parrying can even turn the tide of battle in your favor. Today, we will show you how to execute a perfect parry in MultiVersus to give you a better chance at coming out on top in this fighting game.

How to Parry in MultiVersus

As mentioned earlier, parry is an important move in MultiVersus, and if done correctly, it can completely change the game. It's challenging and risky, because failing it leaves you vulnerable to solid damage from your opponent. But with the right timing, you can turn the tables and knock down your opponent in a flash.

Parrying Controls

To pull off a parry, push the dodge button as soon as the enemy attacks you. On the PC keyboard, you will need to press the ‘Left Shift’ key. On the Xbox Controller, you can do it by using the ‘B’ button.

To parry in this 2024 platform fighter, players will need accurate timing without pressing any directional buttons. While parrying, you will have to stay still and only press the dodge key at the right moment. Pressing left, right, or any other buttons will cause your parry to fail.

Parrying Tips & Tricks

To master this tactic, carefully watch how your opponent attacks. Every character in MultiVersus has different punch speeds and attack patterns, so pay attention to them during battles to understand their moves. Once you get it, time your parry perfectly. To predict what your enemy will do, you can change their setting to 'Normal Attack' mode in the settings.

For this purpose, just go to Settings, choose Team 2, and set their behavior to Normal Attack.

It's also important to watch your Dodge Meter. This meter shows how many dodges you have left. Normally, you start with six dodges, and each one you use makes the meter go down. Once it's empty, players won’t be able to parry anymore. To fill it up faster, keep attacking your enemy. The more you hit them, the quicker the meter will refill.
