My Hero Academia fans are making their preparations to say goodbye to their favorite anime. My Hero Academia Will Soon Be Dethroned By A New Superhero Anime
A new superhero anime is on the rise, and it could compete with MHA.
My Hero Academia’s manga ended with chapter 430. Later on, however, the story added a lot of content to the main manga. Horikoshi released an extra chapter, My Hero Academia Chapter 431 with the final volume, and it gave fans more closure concerning the characters' arcs of their favorites, especially for the likes of Deku. This final chapter will be seen in the extra OVA Episode 12 of MHA.
My Hero Academia Anime Could Conclude With Chapter 431, Divulging From The Manga
My Hero Academia Season 8 has been an incredible ride for fans. The quality of My Hero Academia Season 8 has been such that it has become the best-rated season of the whole franchise. Sadly, however, it’s also the shortest season, and it’s now coming to a close. MHA season 8 is getting 11 episodes, with the final one airing this weekend, on the 13th December.
These 11 episodes will likely adapt all the official manga chapters up until My Hero Academia chapter 430. However, fans shouldn’t forget about the extra special episode, My Hero Academia episode 12. This special episode doesn’t yet have an exact release date, but it will change the ending of the series.
My Hero Academia Episode 12 will adapt MHA’s extra chapter, chapter 431. Through this extra content, the fans will get more closure. The ending of Izuku Midoriya will be expanded upon, as he fully pursues his Hero career once more and climbs the ranks. Fans also can’t wait to see the official couple of Izuku and Ochaco form through this new ending.
My Hero Academia’s Manga Officially Ended with Chapter 430
My Hero Academia’s manga officially ended last year, in 2024. The original ending of the story happened in My Hero Academia Chapter 430, which showcased an 8-year timeskip, following the final battle against Shigaraki and All For One.
Kohei Horikoshi Recommends The New My Hero Academia Replacement To Fans
MHA has a new replacement recommended by Horikoshi - and it might be Shonen Jump's next big hit.
Izuku had left his hero career behind and become a teacher. In this chapter, Deku receives a gift from All Might, which is a Hero suit that grants him Quirk-like powers. This allows him to become a Hero once again.
This was MHA’s last chapter published in Weekly Shonen Jump. My Hero Academia chapter 431 came later, in the final volume. Some believe this chapter was created by Horikoshi due to a lot of negative backlash the original ending got, but that's not quite true.
My Hero Academia’s Anime Could Set Up A Future Movie
The My Hero Academia anime will more than likely conclude with MHA chapter 431, and with that, fans will get a lot more closure compared to the manga ending with more detailed character epilogues.
Not only that, but it’s more than likely that the anime will add some exclusive content. This anime content could expand the story greatly, and perhaps, even set up future projects, like a movie.
Fans would love to see Deku and the other new Pro Heroes in action again, which is something they never got to see in the manga. A movie where Deku, Bakugo, and the others face a new threat would also be amazing. This movie could also finally realize Deku’s goal as he may be able to overtake Mirio as Japan’s Number 1 Hero.
The My Hero Academia manga concluded with 431 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found on Manga Plus. My Hero Academia is also airing its final season, which will consist of 11 episodes in total. The series can be watched on Crunchyroll.
