This article contains spoilers from the My Hero Academia series.
My Hero Academia is one of the most iconic anime series of the last decade. This anime went on to establish itself as a dominant series in a time period where Naruto had just ended. Since then, it has become wildly popular all over the world, and it has even inspired other anime series after it. Now, however, My Hero Academia is officially coming to an end, and that is quite sad for all anime fans in the world.
My Hero Academia Has Officially Confirmed The Biggest Couple In The Series
The biggest couple in MHA has been confirmed, and it has caused a lot of controversy.
Nothing can truly replicate the feeling that My Hero Academia gives to the fans, but there are similar anime out there, especially among the newer ones, that carry a similar vibe. One recent Chinese anime that has caught the attention of all the fans is To Be Hero X, and while the premise of the series is somewhat different, it has proven to be an absolute sensation so far, being one of the very best anime of 2025. Once My Hero Academia does wrap up, To Be Hero X is going to be the next big superhero anime hit, and fans are desperately waiting for another season.
My Hero Academia Will Officially End On December 13, 2025
My Hero Academia is currently airing its final season, and it is safe to say that the end is almost upon the fans. The final season of My Hero Academia, which began airing not too long ago, covered the last stretch of the Final War Saga.
Fans got to see some incredibly exciting fights brewing in this part of the story, such as Deku's battle against Shigaraki, Bakugou's clash against All for One, and eventually the end of the war. While the war ended somewhere around the midway point in My Hero Academia Season 8, the post-war epilogue is still being uncovered, and there is one more episode left.
People are not born equal. We each take shape differently, which leads us to care about others. It's because one's mind and body are unlike anyone else's that we're drawn to others in search of common ground. This is the truth about society that I learned when I was 17. — Izuku Midoriya, My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is officially ending on December 13, 2025, which means that after this day, fans will have to bid farewell to their favorite superhero anime. There is a special episode of My Hero Academia on the way currently, but at this point in time, it remains unknown when exactly it is coming out.
Regardless, that is not a true replacement for the My Hero Academia anime series, and fans will have to look for a series with a similar vibe that will inspire them like Deku and the other heroes did.
My Hero Academia Will Be Replaced By To Be Hero X
The closest replacement to My Hero Academia, at least for now, is going to be To Be Hero X, which is a very popular Chinese anime. The anime series debuted earlier this year in the summer, and it is safe to say that it was an absolute sensation. To be Hero X carries a similar premise, and even the power system is somewhat similar, but fans know very well that it isn't a MHA copy.
I'd be lying if I claimed I didn't miss it all. But as long as I can still inspire and encourage others, then I'd still say that this is the tale of how we became great Heroes. All of us, for all this time...this is the tale of how we'll keep reaching out to help for all time. — Izuku Midoriya at the end of My Hero Academia Chapter 430
My Hero Academia Officially Has A New Replacement For All Might As No. 1 Hero
All Might is no longer the number 1 hero in Japan and has been replaced by this character in MHA.
To Be Hero X does its own thing and it manages to do so brilliantly. It is also animated incredibly beautifully, which only adds to its charm, especially in today's world, where it is very important.
The fact that it is one of the highest-rated anime of 2025 is proof that most fans want to see it return quickly and excite them just as My Hero Academia had.
To Be Hero X Is One Of The Best New Anime
Not only is To Be Hero X going to be the perfect replacement for My Hero Academia, but it is also going to be one of the dominant anime in the coming years. It goes without saying that this anime is absolutely phenomenal and even though it has its flaws, they can only be improved upon in the future.
Along with Lord of the Mysteries, To Be Hero X was 2025's newest anime sensation, and some fans most certainly rate it as the best anime of the year. The continuation of To Be Hero X is also going to ensure that more Chinese anime become mainstream because quite clearly they have tremendous potential.
For now, there is no word on To Be Hero X Season 2, but fans can only hope that they get a late 2026 or an early 2027 release.
