Japan Already Has The Perfect Replacement For My Hero Academia

Usually, fans would expect anime content to be teased at Jump Festa, but now, My Hero Academia's anime is ending already, so it makes the fans wonder what exactly could be announced during this stage.
What's more, it is now official that My Hero Academia will make a big surprise announcement during the Jump Festa stage. Whatever exactly this announcement is remains to be seen, but there is certainly hope for My Hero Academia to continue. Despite the manga having ended, My Hero Academia could still get more content in the form of movies, which could be supervised by Horikoshi himself.
Perhaps, there are some even bigger projects planned. It'll all become clear in under two months. Jump Festa 2026 is scheduled for December 21, 2025, so fans don't have to wait too long to find out what the announcement is about.
Fans Hope For An Update On Horikoshi's New Manga
Horikoshi Could Return In 2026
Along with big anime projects that could be announced during My Hero Academia's Jump Festa 2026 stage, there is also Horikoshi's manga to look forward to. Fans know very well that Kohei Horikoshi is starting another manga. He's made this desire clear already, and he even revealed some surface-level plans for what he intends to do next. It is more than likely that Kohei Horikoshi will return with his new manga in 2026, and it is possible that this manga could be teased during Jump Festa 2026.
That doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be connected to My Hero Academia in any way, however. It is highly likely that Horikoshi's new manga is going to be completely independent from My Hero Academia. Still, there is a small chance that it could be connected to it in some way, just as JJK Modulo was announced as a sequel to JJK. Either way, fans will find out more information in December, when Jump Festa officially begins.
