At the end of the series, Deku might have lost his quirk, but he gained a very exciting ability in the form of a new Hero armor. As is quite clear at the end of the series, a new power is on the rise, and it is none other than technology itself. The world has evolved greatly, and fans expect to see more of this technology in future one-shots and movies, if there are any.

How Support Equipment Became The New Power System

  • Support Equipment Are Way More Important Than Ever
  • Full Body Armor Can Help In Battle

My Hero Academia turned a page when the author introduced fans to Armored All Might during the Final War saga. In this particular arc, All Might revealed that he still wanted to fight despite not having access to the One For All anymore. As such, he ended up utilizing an armor he spent a fortune on, which gave him great abilities. The birth of Armored All Might was seen in My Hero Academia's Final arc where Yagi Toshinori took on All For One in combat.

Technology has come a long way over the last 8 years! — All Might

Although many, including Tsukauchi, believed All Might would get decimated in battle, he actually did quite well. He successfully helped weaken All For One greatly and his combination of quirks was absolutely perfect. This performance wasn't huge just because it helped stop All For One, but it was also a blueprint for many in the field of technology to understand the true power of science and incorporate it into the Hero world.

8 years later, long after the conclusion of the war and around a time when Deku had already lost his powers, fans saw Deku being gifted an armor suit by All Might. It was revealed to have been developed by Melissa Shield, along with Hatsume, and paid for largely by Bakugo, along with the other Class 1-A students, and potentially even All Might. This Hero suit was confirmed to be far stronger than the one All Might wore. In fact, it was essentially confirmed that technology has come a long way in MHA since the conclusion of the war, meaning Deku was overpowered once again.

Future Villains Will Have New Armor Suits

Nothing is Stopping Villains From Having Powerful Armies

Deku having an armor suit definitely shifts the balance of power in the world of My Hero Academia. In a world where Quirks were everything, now, it has essentially been confirmed that Armor Suits can be a big boost as well. To put their power into perspective, Deku is currently the Number 4 Hero in Japan, ahead of the likes of Bakugo, despite not having a Quirk. Undoubtedly, these weapons are very dangerous. In fact, Horikoshi even confirmed that his armor mimics the One For All in every way.

In the future of My Hero Academia, villains with this power will definitely pop up. Of course, it won't be common, since they're known to cost a fortune, but among the rich people of the world, there are often the most corrupt ones, and they will, more likely than not, use their power to get their hands on this technology and control the world.
