Izuku Midoriya is one characters whose bittersweet ending make the fans quite sad in My Hero Academia. Undoubtedly, Izuku Midoriya shone brightly at the end of the war where, against all odds, he was able to stand up to All For One and defeat him for good. However, in doing so, Izuku Midoriya had to say goodbye to all the vestiges, and above all, to One For All itself. This was an absolutely major loss for him as a character, and also for the fans, who had watched Izuku earn and grow into this power over the years. Izuku still held some embers of the One For All for some time after the end of the war in My Hero Academia, however, in the end, he lost this power too, and eventually, became Quirkless again.

For about 8 years, Izuku didn't have any powers, and that also explains why he eventually ended up becoming a teacher in UA. But, after 8 years, Izuku Midoriya has officially gained trembling power once again. Thanks to Bakugo, Class 1-A, and All Might, Izuku Midoriya now has access to a very powerful Hero Armor, and its powers are such that it mimics the One For All completely. It was stated that in the 8 years since the end of the war, technology had improved a lot. In other words, Izuku Midoriya is now back to his best, and he's unlocked a plethora of new abilities thanks to his new Hero Armor.

Horikoshi: The Armor tries to mimic various OFA abilities. For example, it has cable extensions that function like his ability Black Whip. It also serves as a prototype where he can try to combine various abilities.
