Fans also got a one-shot with the release of the last volume of the series, and recently, at the very beginning of May, fans also got access to the last My Hero Academia fanbook, called Ultra Age. This fanbook was heavily anticipated by the fans, and it revealed a ton of new information to all the fans about the vast majority of the characters, along with some very exciting plot points as well.
My Hero Academia: Horikoshi Reveals The Trickiest Character To Draw In The Manga
Horikoshi just revealed which character he finds hardest to draw in MHA, and the answer might shock some fans.
Now, however, fans are in for saddening news, as Kohei Horikoshi has essentially confirmed that there will be no more My Hero Academia from this day onward, at least when it comes to fanbooks, lore reveals, and character information.
Kohei Horikoshi Dropped MHA Ultra Age Fanbook In May
New Lore, New Quirk Reveals
My Hero Academia fans were delighted with the release of the MHA Ultra Age Fanbook. This fanbook promised character details from the last few volumes of the story, as well as after the ending of the manga. Fans got a ton of new information pertaining to their favorite characters, such as what they did after graduating, where they worked, and where they stand on the Hero Billboard Chart.
Horikoshi also gave fans access to new information, such as major lore reveals about One For All, All For One, and even some reveals about background characters, which only adds to the richness of the My Hero Academia world.
My Hero Academia: Prime All Might's Maximum Speed Is Officially Revealed By Kohei Horikoshi
Horikoshi has finally revealed how fast All Might can travel.
Most importantly, fans also got to see a My Hero Academia One-Shot, which was based on Eri and her growth 8 years after the end of the war. It also went over new rankings for Japan Heroes, where Deku ranked number fourth, and Bakugo ranked fifth.
However, now, Horikoshi has announced that he won't be dropping any new My Hero Academia content anytime soon.
Horikoshi Confirms MHA Ultra Age Was The Last Fanbook
No More My Hero Academia Content
Earlier today, renowned translators revealed Horikoshi's message from the Ultra Age Fanbook, where he basically confirms that this fanbook marks the end of My Hero Academia as a whole. According to Horikoshi in his afterword, this was the third and final fanbook. The editing team, along with Horikoshi himself, tried to include as much information in the book as they could. In fact, some aspects of the story were even forgotten by them, only being reminded of it while working on the fanbook.
Horikoshi also stated that to him, this Ultra Age book felt like an album of memories, and served to remind him of the times he worked on My Hero Academia. His last message to the fans was that he hopes opening the Ultra Age Fanbook will feel like an album of memories that they shared together, and that if they feel the same as him, it would make him very happy.
With that, the curtain finally drops on My Hero Academia, and fans will most certainly not get any new content anytime soon. Of course, the author can always write one-shots or work on the side on movies, but Horikoshi has previously made it clear that he wants to work on a new manga. As such, My Hero Academia has now effectively wrapped up forever until further notice.
