Despite spanning over seven seasons, My Hero Academia has, surprisingly, only killed off a handful of its heroes. Even with villains running rampant and the heroes confronting foes on the regular, rarely do any of the pro heroes succumb to their injuries. However, no narrative is compelling enough without the loss of a few beloved characters, as the element of death not only serves as a plot device but also as a catalyst for character growth and development.

The world of My Hero Academia has some weird and wonderful heroes. The greatest of them have iconic names that make them instantly recognizable.
Snatch was no match for Dabi’s Blueflame, though what truly made his death horrific was being compressed into a marble. Since he was in contact with Dabi’s flames, he was incinerated alive inside the bead, meeting a grisly demise off-screen.

The hero was one of the last lines of defense against Gigantomachia’s carnage, yet he was crushed by the giant before he could do anything substantial.
You did the right thing today, kids. Your decisions were sound. No matter what happens now, you should be proud of that fact!
Before his death, Majestic was able to use his quirk “Magic” to transport the students of Class 1-A and 1-B to safety. He even acknowledged the students’ efforts and praised their decision, a final message that kept their morale high. His act of selflessness in his final moments made his death quite memorable.

It's up to you, be strong!
As a teacher at U.A. High, Midnight has been a recurring Pro Hero in the series, developing close relations with the students of Class 1-A. Sir Nighteye was the first major character to meet his demise, with his passing arguably being the most memorable, albeit heartbreaking, out of every hero. The suit-clad hero was in charge of leading the raid on Shie Hassaikai’s hideout, and while the raid successfully subdued the villains, it also led to a major casualty.
Mirio... It will be fine. You're already a more outstanding hero than anyone else.
During the final moments of the battle against Overhaul, Sir Nighteye received a mortal wound that signified his end. Despite being taken to the hospital, Sir Nighteye's time was limited, though this borrowed time allowed him to pass on his final words to Deki and Mirio. His last words had a major impact on both students, and the tearful moments that followed made the entire scene quite somber.
