The following article contains major spoilers for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (events from Episode 10 and beyond are mentioned).
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is heading towards the climax of the first season. But My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Episode 10 has already started to pave the way not only for the season finale but also for events that will come much later in the story.
Vigilantes is a good example of how a spin-off can greatly add to the original series; some fans even think that Vigilantes is better than My Hero Academia. While this is a matter of personal opinion, it is undeniable that Vigilantes expands the series' universe, brings many answers to fans, and features charismatic characters.
My Hero Academia Vigilantes: Every Main Character's Age, Height, And Birthday
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has a great cast of core characters, so let's go through their ages, heights, and birthdays.
Pop Step and Makoto: From Enemies to Friends
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Episode 10 shows Pop Step (Kazuho Haneyama) and Makoto Tsukauchi getting closer. Since Makoto was introduced in the story, Kazuho has clearly felt jealous of her, especially because romance may be potentially blooming between Makoto and Koichi.
Makoto seemingly doesn't notice, or doesn't care about it. Furthermore, it is not clear if Makoto is romantically interested in Koichi or if she just wants to learn more about Vigilantes due to her research on the subject. Given the manga, Makoto will eventually fall in love with him, but it seems she is not in love yet.
There's A Big Event Coming
In the episode, Pop Step is invited to join a live event sponsored by Marukane Department Store. She is excited since it's a big chance to kick off her career as a professional idol, but she is also scared and anxious that she may mess up during the performance. Makoto not only encourages her, but she also helps to make the event even bigger by confirming that Captain Celebrity will also be there.
In previous episodes, Marukane's building was damaged by a Kaiju/Villain, and the live performance will be part of a grand re-opening event. Realizing the event will generate buzz, Hachisuka decides to join too—in her own way.
Knuckleduster Is Looking for His Daughter
MHA: Vigilantes Episode 10 reveals major details about why Knuckleduster is targeting Villains. His wife has been in a catatonic state for days, due to Hachisuka, who is actually controlling his daughter's body. Knuckleduster is trying to gather intel on Hachisuka but seems to want Koichi and Pop Step to stay out of it.
I know that you can do it, and I know that you will. Don't doubt yourself. Just act. Fly, Koichi. Fly, Hero.
— Knuckleduster
Queen Bee Will Set The Stage for the Best Arc
This section contains major spoilers for the final arc.
The next arc in the story is the Vs. Queen Bee arc, which sets the stage for major events in the final arc. Vigilantes Season 1 has only two episodes left, but it's still possible to wrap up the Queen Bee arc. It would feel a bit rushed, but it is still possible to cover the main events.
The most exciting part of the Queen Bee arc is that it starts laying the groundwork for the final arc. It will take some time for the story to finally reach the Final Performance arc, but, given the pacing of Season 1, the production could finish adapting Vigilantes in the second season. Anyway, even though Knuckleduster will defeat Hachisuka, one bee will survive—and it will later bite Pop Step.
