In the world of Naruto, fans have seen quite a lot of incredible powers so far. The Uchiha have their Sharingan, and of course, there are the mighty Jinchuriki as well. Fans have seen the power of the Rinnegan in action, as well as the abilities offered by the Six Paths, such as Six Paths Sage Mode. However, if there's one power that stands atop them all, it's Baryon Mode. Introduced in Boruto, Baryon Mode is the strongest ability that Naruto Uzumaki has ever used. It allowed him to use his own and Kurama's chakra as raw materials for an even greater source of energy, similar to nuclear fusion.

The next Hokage has already been decided, and it's Naruto's true successor in Boruto.
This gave rise to Baryon Mode, a power so great that even Isshiki Otsutsuki couldn't compete with it. However, strong as it is, Baryon Mode is quite clearly not the strongest ability in all of Boruto. Masashi Kishimoto, the supervisor of the Boruto series, and Mikio Ikemoto, have created a power even greater, and it can only be accessed in one way, and that's through the Karma and eating enough Chakra Fruits of the God Tree. Shibai Otsutsuki, the strongest in the Narutoverse, ascended to Godhood using this power.
Kishimoto Has Already Confirmed That The Otsutsuki's Power To Evolve Is Stronger Than Baryon Mode
There is no denying the fact that Baryon Mode is immensely powerful. Its peak was shown to the fans in the battle against Isshiki Otsutsuki and it was clear that it gave Naruto enough of a boost to absolutely dominate the godly Otsutsuki. However, it is quite clearly not the strongest ability in all of Boruto. The power of the Otsutsuki is far greater, but it all depends on how many chakra fruits one consumes. Upon consuming enough and switching bodies constantly using Karma to transcend death itself, an Otsutsuki can go beyond any limits and turn into a God itself.

This was confirmed in the first part of the Boruto series, although nobody other than Shibai Otsutsuki has done it so far. Code was asked by Isshiki to carry out the will of the Otsutsuki and become a God, but has failed to achieve this so far. When done enough times, however, the power of the Otsutsuki can far surpass even Baryon Mode. In fact, there is no comparison between the two.
Otsutsuki Can Become Gods By Eating Enough Chakra Fruits
When Otsutsuki consume enough chakra fruits, eventually, they leave their bodies behind. This means that they actually ascend to Godhood, and their mortal body is of no use to them. They even ascend to a different plane of existence. So far, there is only one character who has managed to do this, and that's Shibai Otsutsuki. All the other Otsutsuki have tried to achieve the same thing but failed.

Baryon Mode Can't Hold Up To The Power Of A God
There is no denying the fact that Baryon Mode is incredibly powerful, and that it is the greatest ability as far as mortals are concerned. However, there are also Gods in the world of Boruto, and their existence itself is far greater than that of Baryon Mode. In battle, Baryon Mode can only drain the chakra of the enemies and give a significant boost in power. A true Otsutsuki God like Shibai can alter reality itself with Omnipotence on a planetary scale. They can destroy worlds or force reality to bend to their will. They can even do things like reflect all attacks automatically, or see the past and the future. Their powers are unmatched, and no matter how strong Baryon Mode is, it absolutely cannot compare to the godly powers of the Otsutsuki.
