This article contains spoilers from Naruto and Boruto.
Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto series is home to some of the most powerful anime and manga characters of all time. Other than Naruto Uzumaki, multiple Naruto characters are built with power levels that defy human limits and border on the divine. It’s not just the protagonists who stand at this level, as enemies also carry ridiculous power and jutsus throughout the series.
And speaking of enemies, the Shinju Clones are the strongest villains in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, having emerged from the combination of the juvenile Ten Tails, White Karma, and Code’s Claw Marks. Leading the group is Jura, the direct incarnation of the Juubi, who is hunting Naruto and Himawari Uzumaki at present. Undeniably, the Shinju is a planetary-level threat, but that doesn’t mean these Naruto characters will easily fold.
After Kurama, Naruto Uzumaki's Next Power-Up Will Give Him A New Inner Demon
Naruto lost Kurama. He will, however, get a new inner demon in Boruto.
Kaguya Otsutsuki
Kaguya Otsutsuki Is a God-Like Being
Before Momoshiki Otsutsuki terrorized the world in Boruto, there was Kaguya Otsutsuki, a planetary-level threat who was renowned as the first wielder of chakra on Earth. When she was revived in Naruto, she outclassed nearly every ninja alive, making her the strongest female character in the series. For Kaguya to be defeated, it required the combined efforts of the old Team 7 to seal her away, which speaks volumes about her god-tier strength.
As fans know, Kaguya Otsutsuki had a long history with the Earth’s God Tree and was closely tied to its power. Not only did Kaguya merge with the God Tree at some point, but she also ate its chakra fruit, granting her unique abilities and immense chakra reserves. At this point, many Boruto fans want her back in Two Blue Vortex, as her return could dump intriguing Otsutsuki lore.
Madara Uchiha
Madara Uchiha Cheated Death Twice
One of the most iconic Uchihas in Naruto is none other than Madara, the same ninja who was in close rivalry with the God of Shinobi himself, Hashirama Senju. He also does some of the most amazing feats in Naruto, from single-handedly defeating the five Kage and cheating death not once but twice, to controlling the Nine Tails and becoming the jinchuriki of the Ten Tails. Madara’s name is still synonymous with power.
It goes without saying that Madara deserves a place on this list, as few shinobi have ever matched his power and influence. When stacked against the Shinju, Madara’s power is reminiscent of Jura and the other Shinju Clones, combining Rinnegan techniques with Tailed Beast abilities.
Obito Uchiha
Obito Uchiha Wielded the Ten Tails’ Power
Just like Madara, Obito Uchiha spiraled into darkness, turning what once was a compassionate and idealistic Konoha shinobi into a feared mastermind who manipulated the Akatsuki behind the shadows to achieve his goals. Along with Madara, he desired to create a peaceful world free of suffering, only to end up being used as a pawn for Kaguya Otsutsuki’s revival.
Needless to say, Obito wielded immense power, which could be strong enough to rival the Shinju Clones in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex if he were to face one or two of them. He is popularly known for his Kamui, which basically granted him intangibility and teleportation. Not to mention, he also became a jinchuriki for the Ten Tails, which further enhanced his abilities, including regeneration, speed, and so on.
Itachi Uchiha
Itachi Uchiha Controls a Fearsome Susanoo
When it comes to the Uchiha Clan, Itachi’s name immediately evokes respect and fear, all thanks to his life’s work, intellect, and prodigious talent. He is well-regarded for his solid genjutsu and mastery of Sharingan and Mangekyo Sharingan, as well as his loyalty to Konoha, even when it meant being misunderstood and hated by those he loved and protected, including Sasuke.
While he may not be the strongest Uchiha, many fans still consider Itachi the most powerful, which has eventually become a running joke within the fandom. Dubbed as the “Solo King Itachi,” he earned this nickname mostly due to his Susanoo abilities, specifically the Susanoo’s Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror.
Naruto Uzumaki
Baryon Mode Naruto Commands Power Like No Other
While it’s true that Naruto Uzumaki isn’t at his prime anymore, it’s also true that Baryon Mode Naruto remains a force to be reckoned with in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. At the cost of Naruto’s chakra and Kurama's life force, Baryon Mode Naruto stood against Isshiki Otsutsuki, showcasing the peak of his capabilities. His speed, reflexes, and overall power were so overwhelming that it even forced Isshiki to be on the defensive, unable to match Naruto’s explosive, phenomenal display of power.
However, without Kurama, fans know that Naruto can’t tap into Baryon Mode again. Still, if Naruto were to fight a Shinju, his Baryon Mode would surely knock some sense into these instinct-driven clones. Whether he wins against Jura or not with Baryon Mode, there’s no denying that Naruto would take down at least one or two of them.
Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke Is the Strongest Uchiha
Completing this list is none other than Sasuke Uchiha, whom fans have been talking about after Boruto received his upgraded sword from Sumire in recent chapters of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. He may have been turned into a helpless tree, but he remains a formidable shinobi with his ocular techniques, flawless swordsmanship, and intelligence.
Even after Sasuke lost his Rinnegan, he remained a top-tier shinobi just like Naruto. In fact, Sasuke even became a chakra source for Shinju Hidari, who used Sasuke’s techniques to attack Sarada and the others.
