Naruto: Kishimoto Hints At Sasuke's New Dojutsu 

Sasuke Uchiha is one of the most legendary ninjas to exist in the world of Naruto. Fans know him to be incredibly powerful, and at his peak, he was, quite easily, the strongest ninja in the world, alongside Naruto Uzumaki. Unfortunately, as fans know, Boruto hasn't exactly been kind to Sasuke Uchiha. He has had very little to do throughout the story and in terms of power, he's gotten only weaker with time.

Sasuke has lost a good chunk of power, and he refuses to make use of some abilities that he was blessed with since the writers have decided to permanently nerf him. That said, fans want Sasuke Uchiha to return to the story sooner or later, and that is certainly going to happen. When Sasuke does return, fans expect him to regain his powers and get to his former level. Thankfully, Kishimoto has dropped a major hint about Sasuke regaining his powers in the Boruto series, and he might even receive a new Rinnegan, all thanks to the power of the Ten Tails.

Sasuke Needs The Thorn Soul Bulb To Be Freed

Sasuke Uchiha awakened his Rinnegan in the Fourth Great Ninja War after suffering a near-death experience in the battle against Madara Uchiha. After being saved, Sasuke met the chakra of the Sage of Six Paths, who then decided to give him the power that he needed. With this power, Sasuke awakened the Rinnegan in his left eye, and he only improved his usage of this eye over time.

By the time of adulthood, Sasuke had mastered this eye completely. Unfortunately, Sasuke's eye was snatched from him in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations after the battle against Isshiki Otsutsuki. When Momoshiki took over Boruto, he rushed to stab the Rinnegan and remove it as an obstacle for him. Since then, Sasuke has been left a shell of his former self, but he will return to power.

The key to Sasuke regaining his old powers or perhaps even surpassing those levels is the Ten Tails. As fans know, the Ten Tails has been divided into smart beings capable of making their own decisions and having individual wills of their own. They all possessed remarkable power, and at the same time, are blessed with the Rinnegan.

In order for Sasuke Uchiha to be brought back, the Thorn Soul Bulb from Hidari, a Ten-Tails, needs to be taken to Sasuke Uchiha. It is this Thorn Soul Bulb that could give Sasuke access to the Rinnegan once again, only this time in his right eye.

If Sasuke were to regain his immense powers, first and foremost, fans would absolutely love it. Naruto fans want nothing more than their favorite characters of the old generation to be treated the way they deserve. If and when Sasuke gains access to the Rinnegan, he will likely gain Tremendous power. He will also likely inherit the power to rule over life and death itself, such is the power of the Rinnegan. All Sasuke needs to do is absorb the Thorn Soul Bulb of the Shinju and take its core after beating them.
