In some cases, these powers are exclusive to some individuals. While some Kekkei Genkai are a result of a combination of two nature types, others exist as Dojutsu or some other form of power. Kishimoto has done incredibly well to expand upon the concept of Kekkei Genkai over the years, and naturally, he's gone very well over the strongest and the weakest Kekkei Genkai. As confirmed by Masashi Kishimoto himself, the strongest Kekkei Genkai is the Rinnegan, which is a fabled eye only a handful have wielded in the Naruto world, such as Madara Uchiha and Sasuke Uchiha.

The Eye Offers Power Over Life And Death

Out of all the Kekkei Genkai that exist in the Naruto series, the one that stands out more than any other is the Rinnegan. To put it simply, the Rinnegan is a godly Kekkei Genkai that only a handful of people have had. It is said that in times of great change, a person with the Rinnegan is born, and they are then responsible for great change in the world. They can either bring great peace, or great destruction. The Rinnegan is a special eye in the Naruto world that can only be achieved by mixing the chakra of Indra Otsutsuki with that of Asura Otsutsuki.

This chakra gives birth to the Rinnegan, but only in those who have the Sharingan in the first place. Madara Uchiha awakened the Rinnegan after stealing Hashirama’s flesh and infusing it in his body. Similarly, Sasuke Uchiha also gained access to the Rinnegan in the Fourth Great Ninja War after he met the Sage of Six Paths and was given half of his powers.

As for the powers of the Rinnegan, they're quite simply incredible. The Rinnegan allows the user to wield a set of abilities known as the Six Paths Powers. The user can summon powerful undying animals, absorb chakra, produce mechanical weapons, read minds, rip souls from the target, and control the powers of gravitation at will. On top of all this, the user of the Rinnegan can use the Outer Path, which controls life and death and can even bring someone back to life.

Tenseigan Is Yet Another Powerful Kekkei Genkai

Awakens Only In A Select Few

Another incredible Kekkei Genkai that fans know exists in the world of Naruto is the Tenseigan. This can be awakened only by a select few, such as Toneri Otsutsuki and Hamura Otsutsuki. It offers great powers similar to the Rinnegan, but not quite as many. Still, the user of a Tenseigan can use the Tenseigan chakra mode, which greatly boosts overall power, and as fans know, can create powerful weaponry capable of destroying planets.
