Masashi Kishimoto, the author of the Naruto series, has created an absolutely incredible world where even fate and prophecy go hand in hand. In the original Naruto series, fans saw this concept being explored by Kishimoto to the fullest, where Naruto Uzumaki twisted fate itself with his own two hands, shaping his own destiny, and at the same time, this fight against destiny is what led to him becoming the Child of Prophecy who would one day go on to save the world. The Child of Prophecy itself is a concept that Kishimoto especially loved to flesh out in the story.
While initially thought to be just one person, it turned out to be the duo of Naruto and Sasuke, and they eventually saved the world from great destruction by sealing Kaguya Otsutsuki. But now, the time of Naruto and Sasuke is over. Earth has a new protector, and in a sense, a different Child of Prophecy who is currently fighting against fate itself, and hopes to protect his loved ones from an even bigger threat. This individual is none other than Boruto Uzumaki, the son of the Seventh Hokage, and the man who protects the village from the shadows.
Naruto and Sasuke Were The Children Of Prophecy, But Boruto Is The Savior Of The World
Years ago, the task of protecting the world fell onto the shoulders of Naruto and Sasuke in the Fourth Great Ninja War. Together, these two went on to fight Madara Uchiha, and later on, defeat Kaguya Otsutsuki by sealing her away and ending the cycle of hatred forever.

Naruto and Sasuke were true children of prophecy who forced a great change in the world for the better, but now, it is time for Boruto Uzumaki to step up. Boruto is a disgraced ninja who is hated by nearly everyone around him, and all that's because of Omnipotence. Yet, at the same time, he's the best hope of the planet against the likes of the Otsutsuki and the Shinju. In every sense of the word, Boruto is the protector of the planet and he is a star of hope.
Boruto Uzumaki Is The Next Child Of Prophecy
The threat that Naruto and Sasuke saved the world from was surely great, but Boruto is fighting against even bigger enemies and the size of the threat that he faces will only continue to grow further with time. Given that Naruto and Sasuke were called children of prophecy for fighting someone much weaker and saving the world, Boruto Uzumaki should be given an even bigger title for fighting threats far bigger and protecting the world that hates him. If there was time another Child of Prophecy, it has to be Boruro Uzumaki.

Boruto Will Guard The World From All Incoming Threats
Boruto is already doing an incredible job when it comes to protecting the world. He guards not only Konoha, but the ninja world in general. Boruto knows the fate of the world is grim at the moment and that in the absence of the likes of Naruto and Sasuke, he is the one who must step up most of all and protect everyone. By the end of the Boruto series, he will protect not only Konoha, but also the whole world. Just like Naruto was a prophesied savior of the world, Boruto will be similar. Regardless of whether he's referred to as the Child of Prophecy or not, Boruto will truly be a savior like no other, and potentially even greater than his own father.
