Shikamaru and Shikaku

Shikamaru Nara was named the Hokage after the disappearance of Naruto Uzumaki. The village elders were on board with the decision, as they were aware of Shikamaru's intelligence. So, Shikamaru one-upped his father, Shikaku, who served as the advisor to several Hokage. However, that doesn't mean that Shikaku was an unworthy person. In fact, it was the total opposite. He was a smart man whose decision-making was trusted by everyone.
Shikaku's intelligence wasn't limited to just combat; he also understood emotions better than most. He put his emotional intelligence to use by helping Shikamaru get over Asuma's death. While Shikaku and Shikamaru did not fight together, they had great chemistry. As members of the Nara clan, both had access to the Shadow Release, with which they could paralyze their opponents and even control their bodies. So, they would have easily beaten most teams with their strength. Unfortunately, fans will never get to see them together again after Shikaku died in the Fourth Great Ninja War.
Gaara And Shinki

Gaara is well aware of the struggles of having a bad parent, which is why he is doing his best to raise Shinki. Gaara adopted Shinki and took him under his wing. Even when he was busy with his duties as a Kazekage, Gaara made time for his son, which helped them to bond.
Gaara and Shinki utilize different types of sand in combat. The latter can use Iron Sand, an ability that was unique to the Third Kazekage.

Boruto also has access to the Jougan and the Karma. Given how the father-son duo possess so many insane skills, there is no denying that they can beat any enemy, even if they were an Otsutsuki. Fans will hope that Naruto is freed soon so that Boruto can team up with his father and save the entire world from being destroyed.
