With the emergence of players like Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid becoming two of the most dominant players in the league, centers are back to being some of the most popular players in NBA 2K25. This is due to how these two players have shown how versatile the position can be, offering both physical dominance under the hoop with accurate shooting beyond the arc.
With this growth in popularity, many players want to create their own centers to take into the NBA in the MyCareer game mode. In doing so, they have to create the build they want. While there really isn't such a thing as a "wrong" build, there are builds that are better than others. This guide has created what it feels is the best build overall, though, and provides the perfect blueprint to creating the most dominant center in the game, perhaps even eclipsing the two most recent MVPs.
Best Center Build
Creating the perfect center starts with getting their physical dimensions down. Players should aim for the following attributes:
- Height: 7'1"
- Weight: 240 lbs
- Wingspan: 7'6"
Here are the skills that this center build should use, and their respective value:

This build is designed to emphasize everything that a center is skilled at. The rebounding is one of the most important parts of the entire build, as the center should always be rebounding in a game. This build emphasizes offensive rebounding as they are the tougher ones to get. Defensive rebounds will come more easily with the offense not being in position as much to get the ball; having a center that can recover a missed shot, though, is paramount to setting themselves apart from the rest. This will be further improved with the Rebound Chaser, Boxout Beast, and Paint Patroller Badges.
What makes players like Jokic and Embiid so special, as well, is not just their size (which is reflected here with the 89 Strength), but their passing ability. This is why the Passing Accuracy is so high, and should be combined with the Break Starter and Dimer Badges as well.
Finally, players can use the High-Flying Denier and Deadeye Badges to make the offense and defense even better for the center. The former will help you swat away all manner of layups and shots that are being attempted in the paint, while the latter will improve any contested shot that is being contested from the front.
Overall, this build will help the center become a great player in all facets of the game. While they won't be the primary shooter for the team, they can drain them when necessary and can keep the paint locked down at all times.
