NBA 2K25 announced that a new and futuristic Gravity Ball mode has been added to the game. This new mode in NBA 2K25 is a fast-paced multiplayer online mode that takes players into a low gravity setting, but costs an additional $8 to play.

NBA 2K25 is the latest edition in the 2K series and brings even more basketball action in the sports game. NBA 2K25 brings many improvements over its predecessor, including an overhauled dribble engine, enhanced graphics, and a newly designed environment for The City, the game's central hub. While the typical basketball games are still available for fans to play, NBA 2K25 has also added some additional game modes, such as the Proving Grounds, which allows players to rise up the ranks in either 1V1, 2V2, 3V3, or 5V5 play styles. Now another mode has been added to the game, one that is more wild and futuristic than anything the game has seen before.

NBA 2K25 has added Gravity Ball mode. The mode is a part of the many features available through NBA 2K25's The City and includes both 3V3 and 5V5 options. Gravity Ball is a fast-paced online multiplayer experience where players are tasked with zipping through the arena and collecting balls in order to score. Gravity Ball is currently available for $8 for all players on Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Gravity Ball brings a chaotic new twist to the game and throws players into a low-gravity, high-intensity arena. A variety of power ups are available within the arena that add even more mayhem to the game mode and give players the opportunity to score big and speed around the court.

While the new Gravity Ball mode is currently available for purchase in NBA 2K25, only players on Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 5, and PC can take part in it.
