If players want to dominate from mid-range, while also being able to get to the rim and defend, then this iso build, inspired by SiimplyGrinding, could be the one. Height appears to be king in this iteration of the franchise, especially for shooters, and you could think of this build as a taller version of Kobe Bryant, allowing players to rise above defenders for easy buckets.

As well as being great for shooting, this build is lightning fast with or without the ball, so players can either make runs to the basket and capitalize on their team's playmaking, or they can dribble past defenders 1 on 1. With 85 points in Perimeter Defense and Steals, this build is also a nuisance to play against, and steals can quickly be converted into breakaway points thanks to the aforementioned speed.

This 2-way sharpshooter SG build by Quil is all about shooting from beyond the arc or from mid-range, whilst also being an elite defender on the perimeter. Shooting is overpowered in 2K26, and at 6'7" from the SG position, players will often have a height advantage, allowing them to shoot over opponents from anywhere.

With 92 in Perimeter Defense, both AI and human opponents will have a tough time getting past, with steals sometimes being a possibility with 73 in this attribute. While the inside scoring for this build isn't the strongest, players may struggle to score layups consistently, but with plenty of speed, they may find the hoop wide open.

This combo guard build is all about driving to the basket for layups and dunks or dimes out to sharpshooters at the last moment. It is an explosive build similar to Donovan Mitchell and Zach LaVine, with the ability to shoot comfortably from distance and mid-range.

All of this, however, is at the cost of defense, which the build lacks. However, due to good passing and handling, it should still be a consistent build for many teams. Something similar could also be used for a Point Guard in MyCareer.

If players are looking for the best SG builds in 2K26, then they can't go wrong with an all-around build with no weaknesses for the position. This build from Quil can score from inside, outside, and from mid-range, while also being able to handle the ball, pass, and defend other guards.

Of course, this is at the cost of not being elite at any one attribute; although some skills, such as Driving Dunk and Three-Point Shooting, are nothing to scoff at with 89 ratings. With high Agility and being a tad smaller than other popular builds, players may be able to sneak to the basket more reliably.
