For all online modes, VC is the lifeblood of NBA 2K26, and to do anything, lots of it is required. Players will need plenty of VC to level up their MyCareer player, not only to compete in the Park, but also in the NBA, where MP is expected to be a 6th man and then a starter, almost immediately.

NBA 2K26 is a lot of fun to play, but can be challenging for those who are new to the sport and franchise.
VC is also used to buy cosmetics for MyCareer, such as new shoes, jerseys, and other items of clothing. Lastly, VC is used in MyTeam to get new packs and cards. For all these reasons, players will want to know how to grind VC fast in NBA 2K26.
Play On Harder Difficulties
In offline modes, including MyCareer games in the NBA and before the draft, players will be rewarded with more VC if they switch to a harder difficulty level. Of course, it shouldn't be too hard, as winning and getting a good grade are equally important for VC gains.
Try to find a challenging mode that you can win most games, but not all, for the best balance.
Playing offline games is the most steady way to earn VC, as there are no loading screens, waiting for other players, or disconnects.
Complete MyCareer Quests & City Challenges
One of the best ways to earn VC in 2K26 is to complete Quests and Challenges in MyCareer/The City. Daily Challenges are visible when walking around the City and MyCourt. They can all be seen by opening up the MyCareer menu, where there is a tab for Quests/Challenges.
Some of these Quests involve scoring a set number of layups and recording a certain number of rebounds per week, for example. Others are more specific and involve playing with friends. Keep an eye on these Quests and try to complete as many as possible. The GOAT quests are some of the best to look at for VC.
One Quest is to talk to Ronnie 2K about Rebirth, rewarding 10,000 VC.
MyCareer Endorsements
Only Unlocked After Being Drafted
One Category Of Quests is Endorsements. These are only unlocked when MP reaches the NBA, meaning players must make it through high school in MyCareer and then Europe. Alternatively, players can skip straight to the Draft.
Among performing well on the court, players will need to increase their fan base.
The rewards for completing Endorsement Quests are particularly good, so it's worth getting to this stage of MP's career.
All NBA 2K26 Badge Requirements
Badges are back in NBA 2K26, and you have to meet specific attribute requirements to equip and upgrade them in MyCareer.
Beat The MVP At The Park For 5x VC
At the Park, there will be a marker for the current MVP (whoever has the highest Rep). Try to beat the MVP in 2v2 or 3v3 games to earn 5X VC for the game, as well as 5X REP. Unfortunately, this can only be done every 3 hours, and of course, players must be good enough to beat them.
Additionally, players can earn huge VC bonuses for ending win streaks at the Park. There will be Streak Breaker logos above relevant courts.
For both of these new additions, check the Court Status near the entrance to the Park.
Daily Rewards
In the middle of the City, there is a group of TV screens. One of these is Daily Rewards. Come here every real-life day for the chance to win VC or other rewards.
Having a higher Rep means better rewards, and some of the VC prizes are nothing to scoff at.
Watch 2KTV & Answer Correctly To Gain VC
There are a few ways to access 2KTV, such as in the City, MyCourt, or in the main menu. By watching and answering the correct questions, players can earn plenty of free VC. There is a new episode each week, and players can go back to weeks they miss.

2KTV will also play while waiting for matches in modes such as The Theater and The Park.
Daily Pick 'Em
Only Available During The NBA Season
The NBA 2025/26 season tips off on October 21st, 2025, and from this date, players can visit the Daily Pick 'Em screen next to their MyCourt or other locations in the City.
Here, they will be able to pick which teams they think will win in the real NBA, and for each correct pick, they will get VC.

Purchase VC With Real Money
Just in case players weren't already aware, it is possible to purchase VC with real money.
On top of VC being expensive, it's also worth remembering that NBA 2K games typically have their servers taken down around 2 years after release. While offline modes will be accessible, online modes such as MyTeam and MyCareer (including offline MyCareer matches in the NBA) will be unavailable. Thus, anything you spend VC on will eventually be useless, such as cards and upgrading MP.
