In the game's MyCareer mode, you'll have yet another chance to rise from unknown rookie to Hall-of-Fame-worthy talent across a variety of game modes.

To keep players on their toes and to offer fresh content that will keep you coming back, 2K26 is running a schedule of MyCareer mode seasons, each of which will come with a different theme and a wealth of new items and boosts to collect. NBA 2K26's schedule for the first eight seasons

From the initial global launch of NBA 2K26, the starting dates of the first eight seasons of the game are already determined, which will have players set up until the middle of 2026. Below are the starting dates of each season, with more details to come as the next season grows nearer.

You can check the schedule at any time outside the Gatorade Training Facility in MyCareer mode, on the opposite end to the stadium where you play your regular season games.

How Long Does An NBA 2K26 Season Go For?

Given the starting date for each new season, players can expect that each NBA 2K26 season will last six weeks, so you will have this amount of time to work towards any season rewards before the next one starts. Each new season will come with a different theme, such as season one's "Crews", which come with new MyTeam cards and cosmetics to unlock and spend your VC on.
