PlayStation 5 gamers have a busy month ahead of them, with October 10 and 21 set to be particularly overwhelming days. Sony's PlayStation 5 has quickly become one of the most popular video game consoles of all time, and that's largely thanks to its impressive lineup of games. New games are released for the PS5 on a regular basis, ensuring that there is constantly something new to play on the platform.
We are currently in the midst of the fall gaming rush, and so the PS5 has been treated to some major new game releases. Ghost of Yotei is now available on PS5, marking the big fall 2025 exclusive for the console, and the critically-acclaimed indie Hollow Knight: Silksong was added just last month. More new PS5 games are right around the corner, with a lot of games releasing between now and the end of the year. Most of the time, the new releases are spread out a bit, but October 10 and 21 are exceptions.

Friday, October 10 is going to be a super busy day for PS5 gamers. The headlining new game that day is Battlefield 6, EA's highly-anticipated first-person shooter that features the franchise's signature explosive multiplayer action along with a traditional single-player campaign. The other major game releasing that day is Little Nightmares 3, which expands the Little Nightmares concept with the addition of online co-op.

While Battlefield 6 and Little Nightmares 3 releasing on the same day would be enough to solidify October 10 as an incredibly busy time for PS5 gamers, there's also Dreams of Another, Little Nightmares: Enhanced Edition, PixelJunk Eden 2, Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club, and Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga all releasing that same day as well. They may not be as high-profile, but it's still an interesting batch of games.
Later in October, there are even more PS5 games to look forward to, of course, with October 21 standing out as another super busy day. That day, PS5 gamers can look forward to Jurassic World Evolution 3, Ninja Gaiden 4, the Painkiller reboot, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
