Arguably the weakest Winter 2025 shonen anime, Bogus Skill is set in a fantasy world where people eat a fruit to acquire an ability, which will then dictate their profession and prospects. All she wants to do is work a normal 9-5 shift as a receptionist at an adventurers' guild, but she has to constantly put in overtime as the parties cannot seem to clear a dungeon on time. Consequently, she decides to use her overpowered hammer to demolish bosses herself, all in the hopes of keeping the paperwork to a minimum. Considering its premise, I May Be a Guild Receptionist takes itself surprisingly seriously, particularly during the second half of the Winter 2025 season. That said, it is a decent action shonen anime with a likable protagonist.
