Connections is a short, daily puzzle game by the New York Times Games website. It is a word game that is fairly similar to Wordle as it follows the same kind of guess structure and is also incredibly easy to share no-spoiler versions of tries and answers. In order to play this unique puzzle game, players will need to head to the NYT Games site on their mobile device or computer, learn the rules, and maybe get a few hints about the answers for today. This article can help with two of those three things.
How to Play Connections on the New York Times Games
In order to play Connections, players need to study the collection of sixteen words. There are four categories, and each category holds four of those sixteen words with no overlapping. There is an easy grouping, and they get progressively more challenging. Players can guess at the groupings in any order; they don't need to start with the most straightforward.
Once they have selected a group of four words that go together, hit the Submit button at the bottom of the screen to check if it's correct. If it is, try to guess the next set of words. If players are incorrect, don't worry; each puzzle comes with four guesses to get it right.
