Nightingale: Best Food, Ranked

If you are wondering what food you should craft to get a huge boost to your base stats in Nightingale, here's our list of the best options.

In a recent update, part one of the large-scale Realms Rebuilt update was detailed on the official Nightingale website. The update will go live later in the summer, though a firm date wasn't revealed. Realms Rebuilt focuses primarily on Estate building, weapons, and game progression, with the largest change coming in the form of a progression tree. Due to changes to major game mechanics, there will be a reset once the patch is live.

Realms Rebuilt Update for Nightingale Overhauls Progression

The biggest change coming in Reams Rebuilt is the overhaul of the game's progression system. Currently, crafting in Nightingale is based on unlocking recipes or buying them from traders, then using various tiered items to create new goods. Once the update is live, a new progression tab will map out how to unlock new tools and weapons as players progress. Essence is used to unlock corresponding recipes in the tab instead of buying them from a trader. In addition to the progression changes, Sticks, Plant Fiber, and Rocks won't break down into Essence. Also, items that can still be extracted into Essence will have their output reduced, with an increased yield coming from completing quests and challenges, completing Fae Towers, and solving Bastilles.

For players that want to create expansive Estates in the best Nightingale locations, the increased structure limit coming in Realms Rebuilt is sure to impress. The limit has been simplified, only looking at two different sections instead of three. The realm-wide weight limit takes into account buildings as well as all workbenches located in a base. The second counts how many individual pieces there are in a structure, including workbenches, chests, and beds. Players can view these as a macro limit and a micro limit. The changes ensure players can continue to increase the space their Estate takes up and the interior design of the structure. Players will also be able to build using the new Regency set.

Wrapping up part one of the update is the increase in Nightingale's ranged weapons and how much they can be upgraded. Shortbows, Longbows, and a Colt Pistol will be added, along with a new Mystic variety. Dauntless weapons can be upgraded more, making them on par with the new Mystic weapons. Two new spells, Immolation and Fionn's Wrath, will also give players additional ways to defeat Bound when the update is released later this summer.
