How to Increase Computing Power in Nine Sols

In Nine Sols, Computing Power is relative to the Jades that you collect during your adventure. When you equip a Jade, it will consume a specific amount of Computing Power, determined by how many slots the Jade takes up. Once you have equipped Jades equal to the maximum Jade slots you have currently unlocked, your Computing Power will become exhausted. For this reason, knowing how to increase Computing Power will come in handy, and enable you to plan for which Jades may synergize well with one another or are of the top priority for your use.

When your Computing Power is exhausted, this doesn't mean you receive any negative effects or de-buffs. Rather, this is just an indicator that all of your Jade slots are currently occupied by the selections you have equipped, meaning you will need to unequip one of them if you wish to switch things around.

For players looking to improve their Computing Power so they can equip more Jades in general or a different combination of Jades you own - you are in luck. Computing Power can be increased by purchasing Computing Units from various merchants you encounter along your adventure, such as Chiyou in Central Transport Hub. As you progress further through the game, you will encounter more opportunities to purchase Computing Units and improve your Computing Power, so it may come in handy to keep a small stash of Jin aside for this purpose when possible.

In addition to Computing Points, certain merchants in areas that you visit may also offer some new Jades for purchase, which can enable you to gain new options when it comes to the synergy of your equipped Jades, and therefore further improving your power for your next challenge, boss battle, or exploration. Keeping an eye out for potential in new Jades is a very important and beneficial habit to get into whilst playing Nine Sols. This is because a few Jades, in particular, are significantly more powerful than others and can be highly beneficial additions to your run, enabling you the possibility to improve your strength the speed with certain actions or even revive once after dying in a boss fight.
