Top Twitch streamers are notorious for their diverse range of sponsorships, competing for a limited number of high-value partnerships. Among sponsors, G Fuel is easily one of the most highly sought after. Current partners include xQc, Summit1g,m NoisyButters, Lirik, and over a dozen other top streamers and content creators. Now G Fuel is adding another high-profile name to its list of Twitch partners. The once top streamer Ninja announced today that G Fuel is one of his biggest sponsors.Ninja announced the new sponsorship by "hacking" G Fuel's Twitter account on Thursday morning. What followed was series of posts by Ninja, or by G Fuel social media managers, joking about the Twitch streamer giving the account back if the company made him his own energy drink. Ninja would eventually confirm that he was G Fuel's latest signed partner, bringing the Fortnite streamer into a team of top content creators surrounding the energy drink company.RELATED: Ninja Addresses Decline in Twitch Viewership While Ninja didn't announce a new drink for himself, he did tease a potential announcement in the future. Instead, he mostly showed off G Fuel's Hype Sauce zero-sugar energy drink and dietary supplement, which is listed as Ninja's favorite on G Fuel's website. That doesn't mean that there won't be a Ninja drink in the future, however. In the official press release for the announcement, it was confirmed that Ninja will help G Fuel with multiple "exciting product launches" planned for an announcement in the coming weeks.

As for what the sponsorship will entail, only Ninja and G Fuel really know. Expect to see a lot of G Fuel promotional content on Ninja's stream and name-drops. In his first Twitch stream post-announcement, Ninja's wearing a G Fuel t-shirt and now has a G Fuel-branded small refrigerator in the background filled with G Fuel drinks. His profile also has a G Fuel link encouraging his followers to make G Fuel purchases with the code "Ninja." It's the full gamut.

Part of what makes the announcement from Ninja interesting is that he's a Twitch streamer that's already heavily associated with a sponsored drink. In 2019, Ninja announced he was sponsored by Red Bull. Obviously, all sponsorships come to an end and money talks, but it's just a glimpse into how much loyalty streamers really have with regard to their sponsored products.

As for why G Fuel decided to partner with Ninja, G Fuel explains that the Twitch streamer is an "exemplary representation" of a gaming personality and entertainer. He's certainly one of the most well-known names in Twitch streaming, though Ninja's popularity has scaled down in recent years. It'll be interesting to see how the G Fuel and Ninja's partnership works out going forward.
