On August 25, leaker SwitchForce claimed that a Nintendo Direct is planned for September 2025. They specifically pointed to September 12, a Friday—an unusual choice, as Nintendo Directs have seldom been held on that day of the week.

However, NateTheHate’s suggestion that the event could fall on a Friday carries weight, as some fans previously cited that unconventional timing prediction as the main reason to doubt SwitchForce’s September 12 claim.
