A brief video of the Nintendo Switch 2 carrying case was recently posted on the Nintendo Today app and shared by Reddit user Cube_play_8 on r/NintendoSwitch2. This simple black case holds the Nintendo Switch 2 in its tablet mode, where the Joy-Con 2 controllers are attached to the sides of its multi-purpose touchscreen. There is also a flap in the middle of the case that houses Switch 2 game cards and spare wrist straps. Complimenting its look are two zipper rings in red and blue, the colors of the Joy-Con 2 controllers.

As some eagle-eyed Reddit users have pointed out, this Nintendo Switch 2 carrying case video also provides a quick glimpse at Mario Kart World’s physical game card, which is launching on the same day as the console itself. Like the other Nintendo Switch 2 accessories, the carrying case will also be made available to purchase on June 5, and comes packed with a screen protector to keep the Switch 2’s touchscreen in prime condition after multiple play sessions.

There will also be an all-in-one Nintendo Switch 2 carrying case with more storage space for additional Switch 2 accessories, and it won’t be long before other companies start releasing their own third-party alternatives. However, this official Nintendo Switch 2 case looks like a simple and affordable option for players who want to take full advantage of the new console’s portability once it finally releases at the beginning of next month.
